There is actually a working chat function, you just have to bind it to a button in the controller settings, or you can also just use your keyboard as normal. Another really cool thing is the 'Legacy Skins' mod which when combined with the Legacy 4J mod gives you a functioning 'Change skin' menu. People have been making resource packs to add in their very own custom skin packs or even a majority of the old official ones such as the Battle and Beasts skin pack.

Oh now this is niceee, Ive playd once before but not on a server and it was in the betas. Has it been fully released?

I'm not really sure tbh. I installed the modpack and started playing. Might be best I link it in the description and do that in future also.

Yeah I need to enable the old textures to an extent. Not too old. Programmer art as you mentioned. Tbh I do have the Xbox One edition and I could play a bit of that.
