It took 18 years to succesfully emulate this game at the same performance level (constant 60 fps) as the original arcade version. 1993 arcade machine to xbox 360 is a few generations leap !

For all those wondering how to get it today, I had an issue when trying to acquire Daytona USA and ended up contacting Microsoft Support. Turns out you can only buy it through an Xbox 360 (I had to plug mine again after years), otherwise it's impossible to purchase it, despite being completely functional and backwards compatible. I do not understand the reason why they're not allowing users to purchase it through the website or in modern Xboxes, but I guess it might be something related to SEGA rights (my best guess). So if you want to play it on an XOne or X Series, that is the only way to get the game.

You can also buy it off the Microsoft web store. That's how I purchased my copy.

Always enjoyed this game, Via Arcade or Saturn versions just thought it was funny how Daytona sponsored the game and didn't even design the track the way that it actually is in real life (Mountains ect lol). Without being picky about scenery though the track is pretty based on the real thing.

This arcade game is really cool! I still remember playing Daytona USA 2 at Chuck E. Cheese's many years ago, along with the original arcade version of "18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker." Nowadays, I wish they made PC and old console ports for Daytona USA 2. Ah, the memories.
