@@twistedcranknation thats normal. Anything from very late 2008 and beyond has a much more efficient cpu and gpu in it, which fixed the defective ati gpus. In most (if not all cases) the fat units made in very late 2008-2010 are much more reliable than s and e consoles, and they run 10-15C cooler than them. The s and e units produce about as much heat as the units from 2005-2007 do.

Comes from the original Xbox console menu if you listen carefully to the background ambience. But that ambience and robotic voice are actually slightly tweaked transmission messages from NASA during the Apollo missions. Microsoft put those noises on the original Xbox's menu interface to make it sound otherworldly. Idk why they used a clip of that voice in the 360 introduction video, but still cool for the time. :)
