Completely worth it! I have two xbox 360's, one 360 slim and one 360 fat white version with hdd. Unfortunately, the fat one is broken, but i will fix it in a close future!

The fans are so loud because the shop owner put in rgh mod (reset glitch hack ) that is a mod that homebrews the console and you can adjust fan speed.
