Great talent. Can this be done with just using buttercream icing? I make cakes but I don't like using fondant because it is nasty and kids really don't like it.
@staciaskreativity92574 жыл бұрын
Sean Howard I think it’s doable with just buttercream but it will probably just have less of a realistic look to it.

@@staciaskreativity9257 thank you. I will be working on this creation this week using buttercream and my airbrush. Where can I find that cut-out
@staciaskreativity92574 жыл бұрын
Sean Howard I got mines off google. As far as sizing it to your preference, I would normally just use Microsoft to edit based on what size cake I’m trying to accomplish

I’m doing a cake like this at the end of the month.. will be my first realistic cake!! I’m stressing already! This video is amazing!! How long did it take you to do this cake overall please? Xx
@staciaskreativity92574 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Don’t stress about it at all; once you get pass the carving it’s really pretty easy. I would say it took me at least 2-3 hours to complete considering it was my first time doing that cake as well. Making the pieces are always the most time consuming! You got this!

Where did you get the stencil for the controller?
@staciaskreativity92574 жыл бұрын
Shatima Henderson you can print it out from Pinterest or just look it up online. Also I would normally edit on Word for size purposes; just incase it’s not the size you want

@@staciaskreativity9257 thank you so much for responding back. Because I have one for 28th of this month. I'm just starting out with my business and all of this is nee too me. I see you did fondant. I'm having trouble with my fondant, it keeps breaking apart. Any ideas or help.
@staciaskreativity92574 жыл бұрын
Shatima Henderson do you make your own fondant or is it store bought? Personally I buy my fondant because I don’t have time to make it from scratch but for me the best is the Wilton fondant. When I do different brands most of them tend to be dry and they break so to help I would add a bit of corn syrup to the fondant (it’s definitely messy) but once incorporated it helps a lot with elasticity and prevent it from cracking up so much.

@@staciaskreativity9257 I buy mines from the store, the Wilton brand. I don't have time to do it from scratch neither. The other day was my first time and I got frustrated with it. I didn't use corn starch as well. I will try it again.
