Especially since about half of Sony’s monthly active users are still on ps4 and the new cod is still coming out for ps4. Personally it feels like Sony had a lot of the say since like you said they are doing ps5 not ps4 to get people to move to the next generation, and they’re doing switch to tap into the Nintendo audience

The purpose of the game isn’t just about the specific spoilers that were revealed. Any video game is much more than just its story. With this game in particular, even if a few moments have been spoiled, there’s still so much to to discover. I remember being spoiled on Bioshock, but thankfully it didn’t stop me from having a deep appreciation for the game, despite knowing some of the details. It still didn’t spoil the world-building or the characters you meet. I personally believe the game just wasn’t for them, whether it was spoiled or not.

Yes, Sands of Time needed a remake. It's 21 years old. You can't just remaster a PS2 game in 4K and hope to sell millions of copies. It still looks and controls like a PS2 game. If the plan is to jump start the franchise, it has to be done with a new title or a remake of the biggest title in the series if you want to bring back old fans and bring in new fans.

The number one thing that negates what Ryan was saying about the Lego/Sony situation is the fact that Lego never should have considered doing a Horizon LEGO game in the first place if they wanted it on different platforms. That’s like Lego asking Nintendo to make a Lego Mario game and then being shocked that Nintendo says it’s not allowed on other platforms. Sony has the final say. Period.

So more than just being a PlayStation fan, DCG is a known Xbox hater. And honestly to me, I could care less. But... When Parris Lilly called him out for telling him in person that he doesn't really believe most of the stuff he says in his videos and just says BS and hate on Xbox because it gets him lots of views (hate views). Then DCG not only did not deny this, he actually straight called himself out for being a legitimate grifter. He said, "Of course I purposely hate on Xbox. Have you seen how many views I get on those videos??" But then DCG started getting an overwhelming huge amount of hate for being transparent about his grifting... which in turn made Max decide to backtrack... and straight up edit tweets, then delete tweets. LoL! That was just this last weeks drama with DCG. But Max has definitely been more often than not, been staying away from the Spawncast. Most likely Max will be back in two weeks when everyone is hating on something or someone else. But Dreamcast Guy, Who has already shown me that he just doesn't share the same concept of basic common sense. He actually said the Xbox show was good, then backtracked and called it mid and started hating on everything. I am assuming he thought about his bank account real quick and just turned his hater persona on. I am not going to ever watch another DCG video, and there is nothing he could do to get me to actually listen to him and take his opinion seriously... But that was true way before this latest BS came to light.

Ryan wants to avoid saying what we all know already, PS are going to go "case by case" basis in their multi-plat approach. They want to grow their IP outside of the walled garden and if the criteria for that to happen is: "this game makes sense", than that obviously means more games will come to more places, either day one or after a while.

And for PS5 exclusives you have, erm... Astro Bot, Wolverine and DS2. That to me shows a clear as day picture, Ryan can say whatever he wants, I like him, but he's literally making the argument, that if it makes sense for a Sony game to be on other platforms day one, they'll do it. To suggest this is sort of like MLB in any way, is completely wrong and OJ even called him out on it.

I wouldn't go that far, at least not yet. Unlike ME2, the Veilguard characters don't look all that interesting, and the writing in the demo was bad compared to anything in ME. Also, ME started out as a more action focused RPG. Dragon Age started out as a tactical rpg similar to what BG3 is. A lot of the dislike for The Veilguard is because of how different the franchise has become. Most consider orgins to be the best in the series by a large margin. This new DA is a huge departure from what people loved about the original. It's basically a totally different type of game now but with the DA name.

In FTC trials, Sony has already confirmed that they don't see Nintendo as competitor. They are committed to grow Horizon IP. Games sell really well. Zero Dawn has sold more than 20 million on playstation only. They are making tv show. It is guaranteed that there will be 3rd game. There are lego sets and they started with spinoff games. They want the brand to be known. So that's why they wanted the games on Switch. Kids who play lego games on Switch will be teenager when Horizon 3 comes. And they may be potential customer for PS6. I think Sony wanted Switch port and negotiated for no xbox. Given that there are 5 xbox owners, lego took the deal.

I couldn't imagine not being able to play VR. I Kickstarted the rift. Only a couple games give me nausea (movement in VR has to have a few things in place to prevent MASSIVE nausea) . After a few hours I do get an odd feeling when I take the headset off.

Xbox Showcase was terrible. Not enough gameplay too much cinematics and a lot of filler. They should’ve showed way more of Fable and Perfect Dark given how long those have been in development. State of Decay showing was even weaker (no gameplay really?). Plus, there were so many missing games. The nerve of fools claiming this was good. 😂Like we all of a sudden don’t need gameplay anymore? Last year’s showcase was MUCH better.
