Very naïve. Do you understand that Sea of Thieves has been out for 5 years? They have sold to the market they want and now they are opening. It was an exclusive for half a decade. The game is entirely multiplayer. It survives on having a large, active playerbase. Pokemon does not. @@De1usionsofGrandeur

I think Microsoft overpaid for ABK and they crunched the numbers and realized they couldn't recoup costs anytime soon. They should've just paid for Call of Duty exclusivity and that's it. Buying entire publishers probably wasn't the best move in my opinion.

​@@Zenopixel7 You must not know marketing, Xbox is getting out the console making aspect of video games. They are becoming a distributor akin to Epic Games, Origin, Steam, etc. They have too high of a margin of loss from their overseas production, and a lack of quality control as well. Sony is closer in Japan, to Singapore/Taiwan/South-Korea, thus more quality control, and better margin of profitability. Furthermore the PS5 has sold like 3 times as many consoles, than Xbox Series S/X, to continue production, and try to innovate would likely cost more, thus a loss to profitability. This is a way to enter into another marketplace, and make more money, while spending less on R&D, and importation of consoles from Asia. This is actually a genius move from Phil Spencer, and a hell of a way to get more players on their games.

However... i don't think you understand just how big Microsoft is... you keep calling it multi-million dollar company, when in fact it is THE biggest company in the world with, at the time of writing this, a 3 TRILLION dollar market cap. Game pass ultimate is $18.18 a month. PS + essential is $70 a year, PS + extra is $135 annually, and PS + premium is $160 annually. Game pass, being $18.18, for a whole year would cost $218.16. PS is actually cheaper.

Eventually the wars wont matter to the "meat riders" on both sides, games are games and meant to be played not held back by a certain system. That's why I switched to PC so I can experience more games than the limited amount on a console. Something about playing Fortnite and COD for years doesn't seem fun anymore, especially since I have so much variety to choose from now. At the end of the day, a game is a game, the company will choose what they will do with it rather it hurts your feelings or not.

The reason Xbox is letting PlayStation and other platforms have their exclusives is because the main profit doesn’t come from consoles anymore, it comes from the games themselves. Meaning this is actually a good idea and making them more money

You’re actually delusional. I don’t think Sea of Thieves and Grounded should be console exclusives; these are multiplayer games that are meant to be played with friends. Why not allow other platforms to enjoy these games and play with Xbox players? If you were complaining about Hi-Fi Rush, then I’d understand since that’s a good Xbox exclusive we haven’t had for a long time. But Grounded and Sea of Thieves both have low concurrent players and aren’t as big as they used to be (especially Grounded). This helps add more players. Also, making Sea of Thieves and Grounded seem like the only games on Xbox besides Halo and Gears is dumb. They have State of Decay, the Forza series, Starfield, and many upcoming games like Indiana Jones, Avowed, Fable, and Clockwork Revolution. But I understand why it bothers a lot of us, this bothers me too but we're just gonna have to hope Xbox doesn't do this again.💀

SoT on PS is the best thing xbox has done since halo reach tbh. SoT on ps is SO GOOD for SoT and xbox. Cause rare and Xbox will make much more money and it will bring a lot more traction to a game that deserves it.
