@@mikeh4818 There's no delusion. OP was making a joke about something completely different. Halo has 30K concurrent players on Xbox at all times. Steam also doesn't include PC Game Pass, it doesn't include mobile phone, it doesn't include all the people that bought the game when it launched. Steam is only showing a small fraction of Halo players. The Halo community is quite strong. I doubt Halo would be successful on PS because it's not COD or a 3rd person over the shoulder cover shooter. Gears would be a better fit. If it does release on PS as a 3rd party developed game, it might do well though because that's all that is selling and being played on PS.

Exactly! It's somehow ok to do this for music (Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, Amazon Music), and movies or TV shows (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Apple TV, Disney+), but gaming? OHHHH no!!!!! Even though Sega and other companies have already tried streaming games through monthly subscription services as early as the 1990s. The Game pass model works and has its limitations, and as Xbox has NOW shown, is not putting all its eggs in one basket (Xbox One era being the anti-thesis to this). Online subscription model ✔️, AAA games ✔️, Indie games ✔️, 3rd party (almost check with exclusive contracts), now portable gaming on the horizon (almost check). No wonder the Ponies are losing their minds, they have ZERO plan and road map for the future and making their own mark on the industry in TODAY'S generation.

To hear that the three main franchises that have kept Xbox alive for decades are coming to playstation is not "port begging" it's watching the identity of Xbox come to Playstation. I am only on playstation (I play COD on a series S) and I will admit playstation doesn't have many games right now if you've already owned one for a long time, except Astrobot. I do think Microsoft releasing games on Nintendo's next console is very likely with what a positive relationship the two have. But Sony is impossible to work with and games sell poorly on the PS5, so that seems a little less likely. When even Concord is able to be a best seller when Superman 64 sold more units perfectly demonstrates how poorly software sells on PS5.

I've had an xbox x 1 year after launch and i was planning on buying a ps5pro when it came out. But looking at the difference in images and the fact that you have to buy a stand, a disk tray, basically every game and the elite controller is crazy expensive i decided instead to buy a 2tb xbox x and give my other one to my bf so we can play together. Old one is still my home xbox so now he can play all my games, we can game together pn seperate tvs and more selection and i don't even have to get two subs to gamepass. Pretty sure i'll be skipping the ps6 too if sony keep charging way too much and if their "exclusives" don't evolve. Literally if you've played one youve played them all, just different skins of very similar games with very similar feels.

Cloud had a 40% growth announced by Xbox earlier this year. The cloud market grew 50% this year and is expected to continue to do so for the next 8 years at 50% being a 140 billion dollar market by 2032. The console market is flat and actually declining. It won’t be long before all consoles are dead and are just apps on a TV. Xbox went first to port everything everywhere in an attempt to gain more customers long term.

From the Pony brigade: Waiting 1-2 years for PlayStation games on Steam is bad. But waiting 20+ years for Xbox games on PlayStation is good. Make it mske sense.

If more new and old Xbox games go to PlayStation that’s only a good thing for Xbox. I mean look at the games already on the PS5 from Xbox. Yeah week in week out Xbox games the most played games on the PS5. So I ask the pony’s how is that bad for Xbox or good for PlayStation?

One thing I really hope comes from Microsoft putting Xbox games on other platforms is native gyro aim on Xbox and Windows; I'm more than certain Switch 2 players will ask for the feature if Halo or Gears of War get ported there, it's just a matter of whether or not MS themselves will realize that this should be a feature in their own ecosystem.

I love it how people take rumors and try to turn it into real information the same guy that made this rumor said that Starfield and Forza horizon 5 were coming to PlayStation and yet we are still waiting for those games to release on PS5. The guy that made the halo rumor said that Starfield back in May 2024 was coming to PS five. It’s been almost a year and still yet we haven’t gotten Starfield on PS5

IMO, the only reason I would buy a PS5 is for the multiple gacha games releasing there, and even then, it's situational and depends on how much space I have on my PC.

I literally only used my ps5 for astrobot last year. Everything else got played on my xbox, switch and pc/steam deck. Sony hasn’t produced anything else worth playing… and they dont have much lined up in the future either

Everytime a xbox showcase is announced these kind of news arise from nowhere. I'm on Xbox and if anything goes to other platforms I would be happy. But IMHO if someone says that flightsim will run on Nintendo systems... at least I will show a little of skepticism towards the source. That would be an impressive work of optimization whatsoever. I think that fanboys would rather pay for the twitter blue checkmark than for actual games, is so annoying.

But I am still Xbox I just use different hardware, chat... everything is still there, and for 12.99, Game pass on my PC, and on my Xbox, I also set my sons Xbox as ''my home Xbox'' so he gets to use my Game Pass, so 2 consoles and a PC all access for 12.99 a month! I'm also.... Steam, Epic, Ubi, GOG, amongst others... Guess what account I don't have!? Because its useless! that's right PSN, I'm not willing to give Sony my details for their next big data sale... I used to be an Xbox gamer then I got a deal on a pc and I was surprised when some of my Xbox titles carried over on to my pc and the fact I can play Xbox and PlayStation games at higher frames and fidelity. Honestly pc is just the best of both worlds it may be pricey but it’s all worth it in the end you got more mod support you got a lot more freedom with pc and what I love most is nvme ssd
