Sometimes this problems is due to a bad internet conection, some times due to the cache and sometimes is due the game server, i haven't this problems since last year, but today happens to me while i was playing black ops 4, the game freeze for 2 seconds and then back to the dashboard, just play the game again and it works fine, it is not the GPU because the entirse system will shut off or frezee, but its just the game, maybe is a problem with xbox live too. Edit: Now i played apex legends for 1 hour and it didn’t crash. The games that crashed today were COD black ops 4 and The lego Ninjago, and i did some research and found that COD serves has some problems and Ninjago has a problem that sometimes crash or have FPS drop.

The PapaMasCool so what I did was restart from the game a few times, and then tried it. I don’t know if that will work for you but I did for me. I would go to the game, stop at the menu to pick your world, then I restarted my Xbox from that point. Hope this helps

Forza horizon 4 was causing a ton of issues on my xbox one x. I reset the console keeping my games intact. As soon I as was able startup my console again I immediately deleted FH4 and my x, runs like new it's even snappier and doesnt freeze.

Knew about clearing the cache thru Blu Ray but not the clearing Mac address option. In detail explanation of how this helps would be appreciated. Yeah, for gta going by the Casino, firing guided missiles from kosatka, sometimes entering my nightclub, etc...causes either infinite backscreen or static image & noise freeze🙄. Only gta givez me thiz issue. Since the ones I mentioned are the most prevalent & all issues R* supposedly "patched"🙄, I suspect hackers are finding a way 2 reintroduce them as a way of dominating lobbies w/o being good @ the game.

I mean my friends have 0 issue when playing apex. But EVERY single time I try and load up. I can play maybe 2 minutes max before it freezes up on my Xbox one

@@rafael724 depends on how the game is feeling. Like it will crash and the precursor to it is usually audio loss or gun model loss. Then followed by whichever is next. Then it just freezes

I put my assassin's Creed Odyssey back on internal storage. People are still hacking and stopping it. I have never had trouble with this game until now.

Whenever I try and load up a battlefront 2 map whether it be arcade, co-op, or multiplayer the audio will stutter and the game will freeze for about 5 seconds. Then it will seem like it goes back to normal before crashing the game and sending me to the Xbox home screen. The campaign and tutorial are the only things that work. I’ve tried restarting the Xbox, ejecting the disk, I’m connected to WiFi, everything. The only thing I haven’t done is uninstall and then reinstall the game. If there’s anyway someone can help me with this I’d be very appreciative.

I get into a game of madden, and I get into a game of offline vs cpu... and the plays don’t show up, and when they do I’ll run the play, then the game will freeze for a couple seconds. Pretty much the game freezes constantly, I deleted the game, redownloaded and it worked perfect for a couple days then started to have problems again, then so did forza horizon 4 then gta 5. So I did a factory reset (kept my games and apps way) and it’s still doing the same thing, what should I do. Had a similar problem with my original Xbox one.

when i play red dead i can play missions but i cant walk around in free roam for like 30 seconds without it crashing

Opposite for me. I can walk around in freerome but if I die, "warthog crash". If I try to start any type of activity it loads for two seconds, tells me there's a problem with rockstar services, and then my game does the "warthog crash".
