Well nice to know the X1 2013 could actually load something (barely) faster than X1X. I think it could've just been affected by your internet speed at the time, but then again idk how Forza in general even works lol.

Also, it might not have been the 2013 Xbox One... They slightly upgraded the Internal Hardware to the base model in mid 2014 until mid 2015 when the One S came out... If it were the 2013 edition, I'm pretty sure the load times would've been a lot longer... That was the console that got a ton of hate for being severely underpowered compared to the PS4

Can you test using external drives? My 2 TB hybrid SSD can load most games in half the time when it's cached. This is compared to internal HD of my 1X. My 8 TB WD Black does a decent job loading games quick. It's faster than internal but noticeable slower than my hybrid. I tested RDR 2 and loaded my save in 72 second on my hybrid, 137 second on my WD-Black and 1:54 seconds using my internal. My XSX loads games faster than my 1X using my WD Black drive. RDR2 loaded in 1:31 seconds, internal SSD 54 seconds. Anywho I think it's good to show how certain drives perform on the new and old systems.

If your external drive isn't the Seagate card you can't play games off of it if its next gen games. You can if its xbox one games but not optimized series x and s games

@@mmm.3839 XSX plays none optimized games just fine off external drives. Even optimized, well according to DF Sea of Thieves plays off external drives.I have 80 games installed on my 8TB WDB drive and 13 games installed on my internal drive with 8 being optimised. I haven't played all games yet but the point of my post newer systems loading times are not that different when compared to fast external drive. FF15 on my PS4 Pro loads in 1:03 off my 2nd hybrid Firacuda external. The internal drives of X1 and PS4 Pro only have 5600 RPM drives with 256 MB of cache on XB1X. The original XB1 only had a sata 2 connector using a slow 5600 RPM drive. So yeah the new systems fast SSDs can be 2-4 times faster. My hybrid drives after caching are twice as fast as internal drives.

@@hicarodestrui Install AC on XB1X to a fast external, it won't take 40 seconds to load. I don't plan on buying ACV, not big into Norse mythology. If I was to install ACV on my 2 TB Firacuda or break out my old Crucial MX100 SSD (Only 500 GB) ACV would load in 28 to 32 seconds. If you could run a non XSX optimised version off my WDB external I predict 34-37 seconds. WDB drives have read write performance around 230-250 Mbps. Firacuda is more or less 180-200 but the 8 GBs of cache loads almost as quick as SSDs. I just wish the cache was 32 gbs instead of 8.

Just to show that these prices for these new consoles are worth it... My XBOX ONE X has a top of the line Upgraded Internal SSD and these new consoles still load about 5 seconds faster than it in most of these games. And I paid $279.99 for the SSD... Plus the $500 for the XB1X... So I paid almost $800 for something you can get better for $300 less.
