Hello sir, I have a Xbox one fat that turns on and then turns off after 10 second. Standby voltages are there, memory, cpu and gpu voltages are there. But console doesn't turn on. No capacitor or ic look burnt. How can I diagnose if processor is dead or ram ic or emmc?

Diagnosing whether the processor (CPU), RAM IC, or eMMC is faulty in your Xbox One can be challenging. Verify that all power rails (core, APU, RAM, eMMC) are providing the correct voltages. If the CPU/GPU voltage drops or fluctuates during power-on, the processor might be faulty or there could be a power management issue. When the console powers on, monitor the heat generated by the APU using an infrared thermometer or by lightly touching the heatsink. A completely cold processor might indicate a fault in the power delivery to the APU or the APU itself. Check if any RAM modules are unusually hot, as this could indicate a short or internal failure. As a last resort, reflow or reball the CPU/APU to address potential solder joint issues.

@idreestech All standby voltages are present. Then all other voltages, vcpucore, vmemcore, vgpucore, are present. But vgpucore fluctuates between 0.9 and 0.10 continously . Sometime reaching upto 1.6-1. 7. Processor without heatsink reaches may be more than 100 Celsius. It burn my fingers top side of processor and back side then it shuts down. But when I add thermal paste and heatsink, it doesn't heat up that much. I can't tell if the processor is already dead. No other component seems to heat up.

Is this still turning off or stable now after refreshing the thermal paste? If it is now stable then connect the HDMI cable in most closely port to the power supply cable (TV out).

@@idreestech no, it's still turning off. I changed the hard drive but it's still not working. It seems that either processor is dead or nand or ram. Fan never spins, just a twirl. But when heat sink isn't placed on the processor, it rotates for a few second.

The light on my power brick is red and does this but I’ll have my Xbox remote charging station plugged in the side and it’ll still charge my remote but the console itself won’t come on and I’ve tried both unplugging and plugging it in and still nothing

5 volts of standby is enough to charge remote controls while 12 volts must be activated to run the motherboard’s main components.Actually 12 volts is not activating due to some fault which is also shortage. There may be any other fault causing the 12 volts not to activate.

The signal was not proper on small FETs. I detect the fault with the help of an oscilloscope. As it was a lengthy video I have to shorten it.

I have a disc drive that was not opening (same xbox one). I tested to open it by jumping disk drive pins 3 and 9. I was able to open it this way, however in my testing I accidently jumped unknown disc drive pins together. When this happened the unit shut off and now I'm having this issue of turn on and back off. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

I would suggest you check the fuse in the section described above if it is blown up, hopefully that will solve the problem because your pins are shorted. The short circuit can only cause the fuse to blow.

My xbox turns on and off it isn't the power brick or the hdmi because it works on my other xbox but the other xbox has a none working disk drive. The xbox that turns off seems to shut off when ever there is a disk in the console.
