Can't recommend this guy enough, sorted the HDMI port on my series s. My advice is to not try this repair yourself, and leave it to the professionals such as Tvpartsworld.

Where did you get your trace wire and what gauge is it? I’ve just started learning to do these repairs and need some pointers!

Good one. I hope you do not start the world to complain about leaving the traces you scratched for checking continuity test without solder mask LOL. I do not blame customers for trying but they should accept the consequences when they do mess up and the extra charges for trace repair.
