Hey, the video was great again, I watched it four times during the course. I think you and the videos are great. A conversion video with Switch Oled and the chip would be cool to see Waveshare RP2040-One...Greetings from Germany😊✌️

Hello, what tools do you use in the video? I managed to put the chip myself on a Switch v1 and I would also like to do it on an Oled Switch. What is the simplest method? Thanks for the video.

Perfect job, but you should start using kapton tape to cover the modchip, also to cover flex tape next to CPU to protect possible shorts.
@Linkref7 күн бұрын
Did you ever had short long long error code with those chips? Thanks a lot
@tvpartsworld8067 күн бұрын
No EMMC CMD1 request (poor wiring or dead CPU), in my opinion you should check the CPU ribbon tape if it's soldered correctly.

@tvpartsworld806 I have this issue in one oled out of 15 oled, but it happens only 1 time out of 5, rest of time glitching is okay. I heard those boards can have weird resistors...
@shouichihayase196 күн бұрын
@@Linkref An error occurs with some EMMCs. Booting from the EMMC fails. Changing the resistor (near 100Ω) in the command line will fix the problem.

Good video. But the genuine AMTECH flux link you posted is no longer available on aliexpress. Do you maybe have another source for a genuine one?
@Joelwilldoit7 күн бұрын
I got mine from Amazon, the AMTECH company sells on Amazon US directly.
@snk647 күн бұрын
@Joelwilldoit thanks but I'm not from the US so that doesn't help me. With the shipping fees it's not worth it for me to order from there.
@tvpartsworld8067 күн бұрын
Hi. It's weird as when I use the link, everything looks good. Maybe it's not available in your country.
@snk646 күн бұрын
@@tvpartsworld806 Just to be clear, I am talking about the flux in the syringe, not the flux paste. I tried changing the country on aliexpress, I even tried using a vpn just to see if it works, with various different countries, but it still shows as not available.

Excellent video!! I have a similar issue with mine. My switch works fine, but when it heats up after 15, 20 minutes of use, all the commands starts to go crazy and then stop working. It works with an external joycon. Is it could be related to the STM32 controller? Thank you!

I was so surprised when you started grinded metal shield exactly above mother board. It's a terrible mistake. Tiny metal parts can put down at micro components and short.

You wouldn't happen to have a video like this but for the Lite would you? I bought a switch lite for parts and the previous owner pulled out several of the pads and one of the resistors on the APU. I wanna see if I can resurrect this Lite before I end up just using it as a donor board.
@44.caliberbrainsurgery63Ай бұрын
The installation part isn't what kills me. It's having to wait weeks for the chips to arrive because the local people who sell them here triple the price. Great video btw, i wasn't even aware of this sort of chip until now. Reminds me of installing glitch chips to a 360.
