I completely agree with everything g he said. I’m 32 years old, and have been a hardcore gamer since my family got us a sega genesis when I was around 4 or 5. Throughout the years, I’ve owned an N64, PS1, PS2, OG Xbox, Xbox one, Xbox one X, gaming PC with an HTC Vive, PS4, occulus Quest 2 and my Series X. I love PC gaming, but my PC’s always seem to take a shit on me, and are too confusing. I’ve mostly stuck with consoles. I’d say that the series X is my all time favorite. Quick resume is probably the biggest feature ever implemented in console history, and I absolutely love remote gaming on my iPhone 13 PM. And now that Microsoft is acquiring killer studios, giving us a shitload of games to look forward to, I’ve never been more excited as a gamer. Xbox killing it man

Greetings Brandon, man, Im a new Sub, and you are hitting the nail on the head! Ive been asking everywhere where no one has really put an answer out that makes sense!?! Why and where are the true Next Gen / Unreal 5 graphics? Closest reply I ever got was as I had mentioned how quick the demo of Matrix was made in a few months and what they accomplished along with all the mods (Spiderman -Superman etc) the reply that I received it was a demo not a game.. I don't see it.. Im an OLD Gamer, (and used to build PC's along with software engineering but not with a hardcore specialty in graphics.. I mean you all have seen the UE5 demos /tech demos and a year later still no games yet taking major advantage of the Series X or any next gen console.. now I feel like Elden Ring is stunning and looks close to Denon Souls remake on PS5 but still not exploiting full or most capabilities of these GPU's on new Consoles.. how much longer b4 we see this becoming commin place? I love the features they've enabled like quick resume, fast loading times etc. But with Starfield delayed till 2023, and others, Im getting real antsy waiting for the leap!! I mean as you said Brandon, its been a year, now is when we should not only be seeing this leap but it becoming more commonplace like with UE4! Don't get me wrong, I love the next gen and enjoy it immensely, but some limited Ray Tracing and VFR etc certainly isnt pushing the 14terraflop GPu in this aweet machine or the other in PS5... I am just RDY for the next gen to truly come out in a big and consistent way! As Im sure many others are too!. & If anyone, and I mean anyone can enlighten me as to the tech issues or what the holdup is, Id be most grateful!! I can officially say that I am now an owner of both PS5 and the Xbox series X. My series came today and was checking it out. I did the All Access (with 24 month GamePass) from Gamestop (I think I got the last one lol) ; what attracted me to xbox was the GamePass , which plethora of games and I bought CyberPunk 2077 to see how true it is when some people say it runs better on Xbox. So far, I'm still browsing around the system to have a better understanding on the features. As a new XBox owner, which exclusive should I check out?

Lol. I have one it’s pretty slow with games right now as with the Ps5. Games you can check out well I’ve enjoyed are The Medium , Gears 5 , Plague Tale Innonce , Guardian of the Galaxy , Star Wars Jedi Knight. The hitman saga is awesome. These are games that are optimized for your new console.

I want an Xbox Series X because of the best tech and support of physical media. But I REALLY like the way they handled backward compatibility. Many Xbox 360 games and some OG Xbox games AND they look and play better than they originally did. I've been blown away even by how much better just playing Dead or Alive 3 on my Xbox One S looks than it originally did. Remote play (especially on PC where you can also play Xbox 360 games) is amazing too!

Everything you said is correct you understand what console is the best and why what’s the reason I own all the consoles also the PC now with PC I didn’t have to buy another PC all I had to do was just the the most powerful graphics card the 3090 with the I9 processor new motherboard after seeing the new PC come with no cd drive I decided to upgrade my PC my PC for sure now can run street fighter 6 when it releases every time the new street fighter games released my PC was to weak to run it I hope the Steam Deck can run Street fighter 6 also don’t forget to upgrade to ultimate game pass the one that gives you quest that pays you money for doing quests I have $400 now to redeem anytime I want free games and hardware and digital games and movies what’s Sony doing giving a PlayStation visa the points expire every 5 years it’s really hard to make points with Sony rewards Microsoft rewards defeats Sony rewards

I don’t have an X but I just got the Xbox Series S. It was an early bday present from my gf and I am in LOVE with it. It’s incredible. I also have a PS4 Slim and the Switch and I love both but I’m sold on XBOX. I fired up my series s, got game pass, and I’m blown away. I’m on team XBOX now. For the money, the S is incredible. I can’t wait for the future of XBOX. They are crushing it.

Horizon Forbidden West has some really nice graphics, but it runs at 4k 30fps on PS5 lol. And people used to say the PS5 could do 8k and 4k 60 in every game. It's 2022, idk how 30fps is still acceptable. I don't care about pretty graphics if I can see and feel the sluggishness of 30fps, 60fps is a complete game changer.

The new Horizon looks great, but like all gaming consoles they have a finite amount of gaming power to use, Horizon looks great, but if you look closely it only has a draw distance of 50m ) Forza, Halo Infinite is around 150m) each developer has to look at what gaming power they have and how to spend it.

@@who_else_but_dee2821 You're correct about the performance mode, I think that runs at around 1800P along with a few graphical downgrades. My point is that I don't understand why developers made the decision to make the 4k mode 30fps. These consoles were advertised as 4k 60fps consoles and Horizon Forbidden West could've been a 4k 60 game if the developers just made some adjustments. It might not look quite as beautiful, but a beautiful game can only look so nice when you're seeing it at 30fps. When you move the camera at 30fps it looks juddery as one is taking in half the visual information as 60fps. Games are so much more immersive at 60+ fps. I will always lower graphics settings on PC before playing a game below 60 with nicer graphics because it's just so much better. We're at the point where consoles can compete with the average PC gamers' computer so I don't think 30fps is acceptable anymore from a development perspective.

I bought a ps5 because I had a ps4 since 2013. I knew that all my games and accessories could be used on my 5. I have hundreds of games from physical purchases and ps plus. Many games I have not even played yet. I only keep 1 console a generation because they are so similar and it seems kind of redundant to own both. I hope Sony does some things better but it has never been a competition for me. Games and better graphics will come but I'm enjoying graphics as they are now. The best feature of these new systems for me is the speed at which they boot up and load games. I hope Playstation makes a version of quick resume for the ps5. That is 1 of the best features to me.

That is what I believe Playstation fanatics are holding to, is alot of people are loyal to Playstation they don't want to let go because their friends or family who are Playstation loyalist will say they are traitors instead of trying out the Series X and seeing what all the truth not hype but truth is all about, when I was unboxing the Series X I got the gut feeling vibe that as a Xbox Series X owner I was in for a historical experience with not only gaming but technology and I haven't felt that way about any game system to date, the old saying goes if your gut feeling is that tense it is usually what you should go with if you don't you will regret it and we are definitely on the right side of gaming and technology history, not knocking PS5 their dual sense I believe will give optimal gaming experience but I didn't get that gut feeling from just that of the PS5 like I did for Xbox series x just wait because the technology features and gamepass is just the beginning of Xbox series x winning this generation of console wars

I have both and I was a diehard playstation person but during the 360 Era, I started gravitating towards Xbox more because of the network and it's only gotten better. I like how I can just simply join friends in games and chat without effort. Why sony hasn't done that yet to this point, I don't know, plus sony has been focus on single player experience and I am a multiplayer. I like the PS5 controller better than the Xbox, and I like the exclusives (Horizon Forbidden West just came out & Gran Turismo 7 comes out next month). I'm with you on the graphics, but I think it's because they are making all games cross-gen. When they start making games specifically for PS5 & XSX and quit making PS4 & Xbox One games, the games will look a lot better in my opinion.

You've probably heard this a thousand times so pardon me but I really wouldn't say this to you unless I felt it was true pretty soon there is going to be a couple games at least for Xbox that is going to be unique and honestly quite awesome one is called instinct Sharon it's like a Jurassic Park / survival game it looks really really cool but there is one other game that officially and I'm not joking has or most certainly will revolutionize what open-world sandbox RPG games will be and that one is called Chrono Odyssey and you got starfield of course and the next Witcher 4 game but that Chrono Odyssey is supposed to be when I say mind-blowing like I said you've heard that before but I mean mind-blowing 2.0 to the next level 12 out of 10 level

I have both systems and totally disagree I rarely play my Xbox series x , the ps5 controller is better by far , and the exclusive on Xbox is horrible , that last halo I bought was horrible .

What is good about the xbox besides the quick resume and game pass and thst is not that great nothing new coming out i want to get a refund after having it for like 12 days I have 15 day to take it back I see why they paid extra for chips cus if both were available im sure more would get a ps5 I seen the xbox series x and s at best buy and they are not Is selling out but ps5 is gone like a hour after they show up it's crazy wish xbox would make game instead of brag about having a powerful systems that plays old xbox and 360 or xbox one game never seen one on the store that is not on xbox one or pc kinda thought I would be blown away by the series x with all they hype I played on 4k tv got hdr tried it on a Monitor at 1440p or 1080p and HDR won't enable but on ps4 original in 2012 had hdr and the pro and it still only downloads one game its not a big difference from xbox one only the 4k and the120fps but it don't make game to even use the hardware really just a bunch of optimized games from last gen that I already play and don't plan on buying or playing again
