Besides loading times, quick resume and a few framerate upgrades. How do you think it's an upgrade from the One X, which does 4K, same graphics, plays 98% of the same games etc.? And with an external SSD load times are just as fast.

IMO no when you start seeing the lack of games after paying another $500 for a console like I did, I looked at the library and thought....uggh then I took it (the Series X) back. It was so much the SAME as my One X. It Just felt like a waste. I have my PS5 for everything else anyway. And One X for, well not much these days, old stuff mostly lol. SX is certainly a GOOD console, just nothing going for it right now. Bad gen for gaming I must say. @@jonanddy

I’m loving my series X so far. Two years in and I would say it’s definitely worth buying. This, coming from someone who’s always preferred PS consoles. Note: Even the 1TB feels too small of a storage. I’ve uninstalled a few games already to make way for new ones. 2TB should be the minimum.

Bought my seriex as a preorder during the pandemic, its by far the best console i ever owned. I have been playing forza horizon, Hell let loose, cod modern warfare, Age of empires (with keyboard + mouse), MSFS 2020 and more. For me given the games i play this was my best option.

2 years have passed already. Damn. I remember when I bought the X in 2018. 5 years later. I don't game as much anymore and did not play the One X that much only for Resident Evil 2 and 3 and Battlefield 5 but have not touched it. Not thinking of buying a Series X as I can go by with One X, I just need to play a few games and I am fine with GamePass on PC. I wish I had time when I was younge though to be part of this gen.

Well Sony charge you a bit more for their service, Xbox shoves tons of ads you cannot remove off the dashboard in your face to help pay for its service. Neither option is desirable. Personally I hate the new Xbox dashboard with 13 rows of unremovable ads!

I bought my Series X on eBay during the pandemic. Had to outbid a few people, but it has been worth it so far. Even though Halo Infinite was a letdown. The GamePass service is a must buy subscription! I have enjoyed so many great games with my family, there is something for everybody. Plus I had all my Xbox 1 games, controllers and sim wheel, still compatible!

I own both and they're great. Series X is a great all around system with some great exclusives and the value of GP. As for PS5, it just has way too many incredible exclusives that simply can't be missed.

Problem with both is they don't have exclusivity anymore. Both now has games on PC which proves how PC is superior. For example Forza Horizon 4-5 and Uncharted 4 and Rift Apart. Dead Rising used to be exclusive on X360 and after license expired became multiplatform. PCMR WINS! Can do everything on PC and plus mp is free.

I will say the controllers for me have been a big difference. I’ve yet to get controller drift on any Xbox controllers compared to ps. I seem to get stick drift after a few months. I own both ps5 and series x and both have there likes dislikes but I give Xbox the edge when it comes to controllers in my experience . Great vid

Yeah I have been in the Xbox ecosystem since 2004 and have never had stick drift with any controller. I have had stick drift with PS2 and PS4 controllers. I don't own a PS5.

xbox is like iPhone easy to use and ps5 is like android more customizable. but on my ps5 when I record a game clip. I can get 30 min clips from warzone N down to 5 min 2 min 1 min and 30secs. xBoX only give u 3 mins and its when u go down from 4k to 1080p womp but only grip

Your video was definitely worth watching very informational and great quality and animations. I just recently purchase a xbox series X off ebay for 414 it came with the system in great condition with two controllers and the cords. The xbox is very quiet i notice when i played it from 3pm till after 1230am and it never overheated and i was able to move in and out of games quickly with quick resume it is very useful. Gamepass is worth the value u get 100s of games for 16.99and day one exclusives you cant beat that the only thing i hate about gamepass that it lacks exclusives so PS5 in my opinion is the best opinion. I have both consoles but ps5 is like light years ahead from the user interface, controller, exclusive games, the design of the console, etc. The series x outperform ps5 with better visuals and graphics. If xbox can gwt better exclusives than it can be on yhe same playing field as PS5 but it is definitely worth buying especially backwards compatibility only downside is its a good handful of games that are on the backward compatibility list.

Totally agree. The ps5 seems like a premium product compared to Xbox. Like Rolls Royce compared to BMW. I love Forza Horizon and flight simulator. But I really need more exclusives to justify the purchase. As far as design, I think that Xbox is an engineering masterpiece. All compact and quiet. PS5 is too large and makes noises sometimes, and I’m afraid to take it anywhere because the plates might broke. It’s not convention to pack PS5, whereas series X is easy to put in a bag.

I definitely agree with you PS5 overall is better than Xbox but Xbox isn't too far from being a great console it has the specs just don't have the games. I like ps plus over gamepass because of better games gamepass has alot of games but they not top of the line and then day one exclusives its not that many to me that catch my eye even for next month I only see maybe 2 games worth trying out pay day 3 and Starfield and we better pray Starfield don't be a flop like Redfall 😂. The design of the ps5 just looks amazing like sometime I just take a moment and just look at how they crafted it to a work of art its something special. My ps5 don't take up much room but I have vertical on the stand as well as the series X. The only reason I wanted a Series X to see what all the hype was all about I was originally suppose to get a backward compatible ps3 to complete my playstation collection but it seems like everyone I brought had too many overheating issues so I just choose to get a xbox series X and just keep my ps3 slim. Even though I really enjoy my series x I play more on the ps5. I got a 2tb wd black with heat sink for $180 while on series x 1tb is about that price. Sure I can Uninstall games and swap back and forth but I don't want to. I'm an Xbox fanboy and I have to admit that the dual sense is amazing I just hate that there isn't any rumble on 2k like on Xbox. Either way they are both great.

I have my series x still launch and i am still more than satisfied with it. The hardware is just perfect. I also bought a series s some time later, so that i am able to play at my girlfriends home as well and use cloudsaving to continue gaming at any place. Last year i also bought a PS5 because of GOW and Horizon and i had also lot of fun with it. But now i was not able to resist and bought a steam deck on sale and put windows and gamepass on it (like you did in the video). After having all these systems and also limited time, i said i have to sell the xboxes or the ps5. The xbox ecosystem with gamepass and all services mentioned in the video and having the most games free off charge with my steam deck and crossaving as well, i have so much more value with the xboxes than with the PS5. And if i am honest, the Ps5 was not turned on since months, even before i had my steam deck. So it was an easy decission to sell the PS5.

I upgraded at launch from my one x that I got back in 2018, to a series x. It loads faster and a handful of games have better frame rates, but if you own a one x, don't bother getting a series x, the improvements are barely noticeable

An important note is that you can’t play most series x games form a regular ssd external. I have a high grade Samsung external and it won’t run cyberpunk and others. And if you going to have to buy a 120$ storage expansion, just spend that on the series x

I have to tell you, I have not been compelled to buy into the current console generation. I am still enjoying my PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Switch. The current high end systems were forced onto a market that was not ready for them and the game library really isn't all that. Today's AAA games are wash rinse repeats IPs and most are broken when first released. Of course it's your money and to each his or her own.

I have series S since 2022. The device is great but recently it started to bother me that some games wont run at 60fps on series S but will on X. I went through a similar process. I bought a series S because the Series X wasn’t available. I’m one of those guys that have to have both (or all three) next generation consoles. As soon as the series X console was available I traded my series S in. Then the PS5 was available but limited but it was easier to get a Series X by that time so I traded in my Series X for the PS5 and immediately had buyers remorse and bought another series X two months later. I always felt that Xbox is for contemporary gamers, PS5 is for the core gamers with their additional accessories and Switch is for family fun night gamers. I enjoy all the systems but I’m more of a contemporary gamer nowadays (I’m 42 so that should say enough lol). It’s not the PlayStation’s exclusives that moves me (playing Spider-Man is a lot like playing Batman) it’s the accessories and the use of the PS5 controller is used via motion sensors. I’d say get both and my personal preference is get it with a disc drive especially the Series X with the specs and memory being better than the Series S.

Recently I find myself stepping away from competitive gaming on pc, I'm looking for something that will satisfy my now more "occasional" cravings for gaming. Seems like this is it! I also like the disc, I can buy a few cheap old game cd's to run, like tony hawk american wasteland or black ops 2. And the games surely will look great once I got myself a bigger TV. There are only 63 games out of 996 released from the original Xbox and 633 out of 2,155 released for Xbox 360 that are backwards compatible

For me the Series X is currently unusable because of a years old sound issue that causes crackling in the XBox menu and which translates into games even causing grafic glitches (and I'm talking about popular and recent games like Starfield or Cyberpunk). Unresolved as for now, although Microsoft is aware of this for years without providing any useful workaround in their support, that doesn't make me trust in any hype of this product. Lucky you if you didn't experience it yet - but get prepared for it... I'd only recommend buying the XBox-X while making the arrangement to return it to the seller ASAP for a total refund if this problem occurs. With my console, I went fine for 3 weeks then this issue appeared suddenly making the console a throw-away.

I was one of those that couldn’t find a PS5 in 2020 and was lucky to find an Xbox series x at a Bestbuy. Gotta say if Gamepass ultimate wasn’t included I probably would’ve sold the Xbox 2 years ago. Not too fond of the controller and the system Is restrictive. I can’t even move my Xbox to my living room and connect to WiFi, maybe unless I play with some hidden settings. Also when my internet went out, I couldn’t play COD MW2 single player on a disk. This is something that’s never happen with 20+ years with PlayStation. Also the UI is horrible compared to PlayStation UI.

Electricity expense and heat makes me avoid from video games. With Gameboy advance I wouldn't need to worry about it. The problem is there are no games I like. Also I like older video games. New video games so expensive.

What Microsoft claimed is true regarding the FPS, provided game developers stick to Xbox One era of graphical fidelity. But technology improved over time and developer keep pushing the boundaries, so it's not surprising that most AAA games deliver the bare minimum 30fps but for AA or indie games where they didn't push the fidelity too much probably due to budget or increasing the audience since some gamers especially casual are still on last gen consoles.

Don’t, MANY users are going through the same system “error code 200” which forces you to take it back to Microsoft for repair costing $299. And yes, the same issue can happen again after repairing it

Besides loading times, quick resume and a few framerate upgrades. How do you think it's an upgrade from the One X, which does 4K, same graphics, plays 98% of the same games etc.? And with an external SSD load times are just as fast.

Besides all of that? Graphics in optimized games. New efficient design. Minor tweaks to the controller. New UI. Well, can say the same about PS5. Besides new controller, nothing dramatic like with Xbox. Also 4k, same graphics, plays 100 percent of ps4 games, etc.

Overall visuals are improved greatly, not just 4K. More fidelity overall and raytracing is an option on many games. Not just that, but an increasing number of games are becoming next gen exclusive. Very soon, no new games will release on the One X.

I have both and can barely see the difference in most games. The S is a great value and fits nicer small spaces. X looks like a giant brick. Game pass has a TON of junk, not worth it in my opinion. I wouldn't pay for X again if I did it all over again. Emulation is also the same on both.

Is the xbox series s worth it if its just a second console? I got the ps5 but my new tv the lg c2 65 inch i have been using the xbox cloud to try certain games on the game pass. Performance is ok but streaming has a few issues

@@darrylfreeman7889 Even on a 55inch C2 the difference between S and X is night and day..... side by side the S looks blurry. Cloud gaming is not there yet in my opinion because of latency issues and poor internet speeds. I also have a PS5 and was looking at the S carbon black but it's just not worth it in my opinion...waiting for a good deal on the X from Amazon in October....🤞
