I'd say for a cheaper digital only version Xbox Series S is great but for a bit higher range PS5.... Even higher, just invest once for a gaming PC and be done with it for 8-10 years (Assemble smartly, not costly).

I don't have a series x yet, I have an xbox one s, mainly for multiplatform games as well as forza horizon 5, halo infinite and gears 5. Main reason I haven't upgraded to series x is due to a lack of exclusive games. I absolutely love my ps5, but I do like xbox too. I am hoping that hellblade 2, avowed and stalker 2 do finally come out this year, I've been waiting a long time for those games. It'd be nice to see gameplay of indiana jones and fable 4 too.

Which is better? The Series X. Does the same stuff as the Series S, but with more power and plays discs. I use the same logic when comparing the PS5 digital with the PS5. The one without the limitations is the better one

​@@triplerr93just get thr Series X. I saved up for the Series X and I could not be happier. I had a ONE S before and the Series X is just 10x better in fps, textures and draw distance. I play on a 1080p 120hz monitor and the games looks 10x better than on ONE S even if I just play in 1080p I think you will be disappointed if you get the Series S cause it is just weaker. In like 2 years it will be underpowered and you will need to upgrade to Series X eitherway.

Neither. Can play it all on PC. But from what ive heard a lot of newer games wont run good on the S so if its a must the X would be the one to get.

Don't be delusional, for the majority of the PC Master Race Up until April, Nvidia's GTX 1060 was the most commonly used graphics card on Steam, it was surpassed by Nvidia's RTX 3060. While Steam's hardware survey cannot be seen as a totally accurate account of the hardware of all Steam it does show that the majority of PC master race play on antiquated and rather cheap graphic cards. Also no PC hardrive comes close to quick resume, be it the newest and most expensive NVMe.2 or whatever else is on the market for PC gaming, switching between 5 games instantaneously has become transcendent. I'll stick with my 450 pound (Boxing Day sales have it down to 360)"crap box" (series X) and GamePass Ultimate for 10 pounds a month. FYI I was one of those idiots who wasted 3 grand for a 2080ti gaming rig during lock down and the series X in the only purchase I don't regret:P Peace!

@ckooakley not delusional, I had a series x. But it didn't get much play. Quick resume is a cool feature but it's not a omg I need this feature. But playing games on gamepass on both pc and series x there were some differences as far as performance goes and at the time using a gtx 1080, it was a better experience being smoother and better frames. I dont game in constant 4k, ill usually only put a game in 4k in certain scenes and but thats it. 1440p is still the sweet spot, 4k gaming is getting better but not quite there yet. The Pandemic was rough for gamers all over I wouldn't have spent that much on a 2080ti build but people were spending ridiculous amounts of money on everything, ps5, xbox series x and gpu's were crazy, geographically prices could be somewhat similar but also very different. When 30 series cards were launching 20 series cards where I'm from took a huge dip in price in the used market people were selling the 2080s for a couple to a few hundred USD to get their hands on the 30 series until the great shortage happened. Prices have mellowed out recently picked up a 3070 for 300.00. Wasn't the card I exactly wanted but it's been doing very well so far.
