@@GhostDogg07 you have to press the two buttons on the left and right of the Gamesir button. Hold for 2seconds and it should flash blue. I’m using the dongle and it works perfectly. Just make sure everything is up to date and it should work just fine.

Don’t think it can be, it uses the same method the besavior p5 does, it takes the chip from the razer Wolverine ps5 controller and pretends to be that controller.

its used for fighting game tournaments that uses Ps5 so Sony would be really stupid to block it unless they update their console to be more open to all controllers.

I have read that you need to switch the controller mode from bluetooth to wired in the ps5 settings to avoid lag

Quick word of warning, if you're using this for a GP2040-CE based fightstick, it will NOT work for passthrough functionality. You have to use it like a regular controller and plug the dongle into the cable cord. Ironically, the first model was called the FGC because it was meant to help people play fighting games by emulating a DS4, and since most of the big PS5 fighting games support a DS4, this new model is basically only for people that are playing stuff that *isn't* a fighting game. Despite, y'know, "FGC" being in the name.

I ordered the Wolverine V3 and FGC2 yesterday and I really can't wait... While I do own the Dualsense Edge the stick layout just sucks... Esp for racing games I've noticed so hopefully this works and I can use one controller for PS5 Pro and XSX

Great info thanks. I was super limited on PS5 with controller options. The Scuf controller was mostly awesome, but since I dont have trigger locks installed it kills my forearms in shooting games. Theres alot of resistance on those bottom triggers. Could swap triggers in button config menus but never feels great for me. So my option to avoid my forearms numbing out was to use the Wolverine Pro V2 which is a pretty mediocre controller. Sandpaper plastic grip, bad dpad, but the trigger locks really helped with the fatigue issue. I like to use all my favorite controllers on all platforms, finding the right tool for a specific game. So this should be real nice. Going to try it out today. Been wanting to use that Flydigi Apex 4 controller on PS5, as its one of my favorite universal controllers now (works great on most everything). The KK3 Max is awesome with those trigger locks too. Would love to use the Scuf Envision PC controller on the PS5 as well, but Im going to assume that wont work? It seems they kinda fucked it up with making it a PC only controller. Still a real nice controller, just would like to use it on more platforms. Lack of turbo is limited too, dpad is pretty bad. The Scuf Instinct for Xbox should work great. I assume I can only use controller that have wireless dongles wirelessly. Im guessing the Scuf Instinct will need to be used wired? Not a big deal though. Shit cuts out anyway , ha ha.

@@SamxSZN_ It works. Easily in fact. I use the physical button on the console to turn on the PS5 initially, however the xbox buttton will work after that to bring it to user interface/dashboard. The only other limitation I have is mic speaker (and the touchpad obviously), but I love the setup tbh it was work it for me.

I have tried using the se on the ps5 but it only works for a couple of seconds then it tells me to update the controller and when it starts updating it turns off and the update stops

I use the Gulikit Adapter and Gulikit King Kong Pro 2 which you have to physically connect an original Xbox or PS controller which means it is either emulating it or passing on the commands to the original controllers. I think this is better because there is no way to get banned because the OG controllers are being used.

the brook fgc 1 adapter was used at a sony ran event evo early this year and no one got banned for using it so i imagine the fgc 2 will be the same way. I have used the first version this past year on ps5 with no issues, the only company that tries to ban and patch out use of converters is xbox when they made that big change early this year

As a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament player, being forced to play on PS4 has long been awful, but Brook helps make it a bit more palatable. The lowest latency converter I’ve ever used is their Xbox 360 to PS4 converter. It’s genuinely fantastic. I still feel a small bit of delay, but it’s gotta be like 2ms, so hardly an issue. One of the weirdest things is that the Brook Xbox One to PS4 original converter (Before they released Wingman XE and XE2) doesn’t work on PS4 with Xbox Elite Controllers or the Razer Wolverine v3 TE, but the standard OEM controllers work just fine I’m genuinely confused on why that is the case.

There are superior converters available that support all consoles With one device XIM Allows you to use any controller on any consoles with one device. With Brooks converters You have to use wired and you have to get a specific converter for a Specific consoles

I have the XB1 and XB2 adapters. This was so I can use my DualSense controller on my Xbox Series X AND PC (battlefield won’t start if it detects DS4Windows program running) Bluetooth Sux on these !!!! There’s noticeable delay. It disconnects randomly. This is after using multiple different controllers. I use them wired. I’m happy.

You can do Bluetooth by using an 8bitdo Bluetooth adapter and plugging it into one of these adapters and it works fine in my testing. It's also the ONLY way to use a Google Stadia controller with one of these adapters atm

I have both the FGC2 and the P5 mate, and the FGC2 is much better. It doesn’t require the extra ISB input for power, and the FGC latest update maps “select” to the touchpad, and “start” + “select” as the share button.

For the average player, there isn't TOO much of a difference, but Brook has less input lag. As a passthrough device for something like a GP2040-CE based fightstick, they're identical, so buy whatever's cheaper.
