Xbox/Playstation VPN Setup Tutorial. This is the quickest and most convenient way of setting up a VPN without needing to figure out if your router has VPN configurations. All you need is a good VPN (any modern VPN will do) and use your PC's connection to access the Xbox Live Network. From there, you can conveniently enable/disable your VPN right from your PC without having to worry about unplugging anything.
A VPN is an important tool to use on the internet nowadays. Whether it's to protect your from certain scams or identity thefts, video game platforms have to worry about idiots who DoS/DDoS attack other players, boot players off the internet, whatever you want to call it. Getting hit off on Xbox can be very frustrating and can really ruin any willingness to enjoy online multiplayer. Having a VPN allows you to hide your IP Address from Xbox Hackers/Xbox Scammers, and protect your router/internet from any internet attacks.
A DoS/DDoS attack is a federal offense. Though it may seem simple to some, it is illegal, and can result to ten years of imprisonment. Using a VPN will protect you from these types of internet attacks on the Xbox Network and Playstation Network. Most modern VPNs have automatic internet kill switches, which is really important when it comes to protecting your online identity/internet access.

You forgot one thing, you have to go to Advanced settings then change the IP and DNS settings so that it can connect to your PC network. If you wanna go back to using normal internet without VPN, connect to your Router wifi in Xbox and then go to Network settings and then Advanced settings. Make the IP and DNS settings all automatic.

Proxy is basically a gateway between your PC and the internet. It can be used to filter out packets which helps against a DDoS.

Did you follow the exact steps as shown? Make sure your VPN is set to open. It doesn’t work on other options for this method.

bruh Avast has over 700 servers in 34 countries and 55 cities which is not bad and its based in the Czech republic cybersecurity and Avast doesn't have a smart DNS feature and expressvpn is better than Avast for streaming alright 😂

Mullvad is literally one of if not THE best even for speed, with how good the protection is + no logs i thought it would drop my speeds without Mullvad i get on average 850 download - 900 upload WITH Mullvad i get between 600/800 download - 800/900 upload yea it "throttles" the download a lot but i'm still getting over half a gig and just general connection wise, never has issues. i used OctoVPN private servers for a few months but it would disconnect me every 15-30 minutes when i was playing minecraft on a realm or server, mullvad never had an issue.

Wouldn’t recommend getting on free VPN’s due to poor server infrastructure/overload which will lead to lots of latency issues but best VPN paid would be Private Internet access which is very cheap like $40USD yearly 100+ countries and tons of servers stable connection

@@sacramentolove VPN’s can easily get hit off it does mask your ip address and have the slightest bit of DDOS protection like u can’t get hit with a stress attack but any attack using a server method with a little bit of power can easily hit it offline no bypass needed or anything meaning anyone purchasing a service could hit u off easily with a server method
