It seems that these cloud gaming companies are forgetting that there are a lot of people that can't reasonably use cloud gaming. Absolutely does not work smoothly in the western side of Canada. Xcloud especially, has crazy input lag. There are no nearby servers.

I have fond memories of the original Xbox version of Fable It has so much hype that it fell short on that I mostly remember it because I was already modding it back then of course by TLC I was mostly using the PC version and I modded it so much that I can recognize that game by its code

I play 95% of the time on console, but when I need it, I use cloud and the current advancements by PS and Xbox are just amazing for that. When I see the way the youth around me are accessing games, I can see when there is such a big push for cloud. These kids just want to play and will do it any way they can.

When does the option to play your own owned games over the cloud start. Hasn't started here in Ireland yet?. Also think the best feature they ever had was the Friends & Family game pass, shame that stopped. Loved knowing 5 of my family and friends could play on my account anytime they wanted, even at same time as me. I liked that the package was actually being used (I am usually very busy with work etc so lovely seeing people using the subscription).

Word on the street about Sonys acquisition is that Kadokawa approached Sony in order to dodge an attempted hostile takeover. Kadokawa owns a 70% stake in FromSoft, not just "a controlling stake" Sony ALREADY owns 16, or 18% so after this acquisition it would be 86-88% stake.

Nvidia+Steam offers something sorta similar. Instead of paying for Gamepass Ultimate you pay for Georce Now then you can play via the cloud as well as on your PC. The tradeoff is you dont get gamepass but you do get better streaming. I think Gamepass is the better value over better streaming quality. But I don't want to be a blind zealot fan boy and pretend different platforms dont offer different strengths.

So, not every game is play anywhere. Some of them, yes but not all. Some games of the Microsoft store are PC only while some are Xbox only. I haven’t noticed all the new games being cross platform and/or cross console. I wish but, no. 98% of my games are either PC only or console only. First they should fix Remote play on LAN network, (Stream from Xbox to PC etc via LAN) quality on LAN is terrible so bitrate and res :/ than they should do something with bitrate and res on xcloud, we are waitng so long for this to fix especjaly on LAN network, x one had almost perfect lan remote play
