It looks and sounds great. I hope they add a few more interesting features to spice things up- maybe allow characters to wield weapons, or add unlockable characters and branching paths. The game looks solid, but it could use some more creativity. Thankfully, WayForward is in charge with this one, so I'm very confident they will improve upon it. *edit: holy crap i thought WayForward made it!!

I beat the story mode with Daniel Larusso, but Im having trouble will Ali Mills. The final stage is full of Heavy Karatekas. Can someone give me tips or strats for beating Heavy karatekas with Ali Mills?

As someone who first beat the story with Ali initially, try using the charged dash move where you charge energy and then go through them. Or save your signatures specifically for them to chunk away at their large HP bars. Ali has pretty good signatures, particularly signature 2 and 3 are quite strong.

This game is a throwback to video games of the 1980s. In those games you'd only be able to play as Daniel Larusso, with the Cobra Kai guys as the enemies. If you want a game that gives you the option to play as Johnny Lawrence and the Cobra Kai students, play one of the COBRA KAI games.
