With the first two Gen3 Toralei dollsz inwasnt super impressed with their deisgns. Overall, I loved the new facemold and screening, but I wasn't a fan of her outfit. However, this doll, besides the poly hair, is so incredibly strong and beautiful. Her makeup is everything and her outfits are reallt cute. Btw, I sent something Toralei themed to your PO Box and I hope it has arrived safely and that youll like it

I feel the same… super precious and strong base doll but the rest wasn’t clicking. This doll is soooo amazing that I’m not even concerned with the hair. I absolutely love the color and style so I’m content… for now. Also gah most likely it has! I had to delay PO Box a bit. I’m playing catch up majorly

i feel like this truly is one of the strongest Skulltimate Secrets dolls released yet!! as you pointed out, the mix & match quality of the pieces is truly there, i love how many combinations you can pull off. i also think that tube top is one of the cutest MH shirts yet, idk i know it's simple but the design is so good i love it 😭 her makeup is so killer, she looks really fierce with that + the black streaks in her red hair, she is just to die for. i even love the design they did for the locker, and all her accessories are so personal and well made! ❤ definitely a must have for me, i hope i see her in stores soon 🥰

I think the pink shoe is a very odd choice. It seems like they’ve added pink to a lot of dolls or themes that don’t need it, and I’m confused as to why. Are they worried kids won’t like the dolls if there isn’t pink somewhere? The one pink shoe just looks like a factory mistake on this doll

I love mine! Somehow the makeup and outfit pieces make my core Toralei look...sweeter?? The severity of the makeup on this one makes the other look disney almost. I love toralei though. First time ive ever gotten a doll before most youtubers I watch make a review. Easily became my favorite. She reminds me of the lion king with this color palette :D

I really love glow in the dark stuff! I’m so excited for this line, it’s prefect for the fall and Halloween season and into winter too. I’m behind on the fearidecent line so I definitely want to get those first while they are in stores but I will be excited for these ghouls!

I love this doll and I like that she doesn't look mean like the earlier ones and it's nice to see short hair dolls I wish barbie would make short hair dolls like the 60s ones the only thing is I like the plastic case but if you collect all the skull mates the cases just stack up

Toralei is def my fav in neon frights. I still need to unbox my Ghoulia I was bummed mine has a chip in the bottom lip luckily Target did actually refund me though since she arrived late and I did use the Target coupon too. I’m hoping the red paint I have matches good enough to fix my Ghoulia 🤞. I plan to reroot Twyla from this line since I really hate her bangs. I ended up really liking Drac & Frankie in this line as well like more so than amped up Frankie. Still gotta unbox scare-adise island Frankie and Faboolous pets Drac.

Honestly, to me, the neon frights line does not attract me. Compared to the fearidescent line, it seems like a step back. I like that they are adding new characters, but the designs aren't pulling me in. Anyway, I still loved the video and listening to your opinions!

I don't know if you've watched the Nickelodian show but the show is where it's AT with g3 lore and there's so much Toralei content, it's great. The movies and the show don't really intersect aside from being built on the same g3 base

For parents the case is cool tho because those little accessories tend to be lost all over the place this gives kids a nice place to put everything and they’d definitely fit more accessories than just this doll. The signature characters line could also go in the drawers. And if you traveled on a trip the kid could keep their special doll they brought with very safe in the case. Idk I like cases 😅

I'm almost certainly gonna get Toralei since I like this version a lot better than her base doll, I'm on the fence about Twyla and Ghoulia, and I'm probably gonna skip Draculaura and Frankie. I really like Neon Frights Twyla as a doll, though I don't love her hair and I have mixed feelings about her outfit so I might wait til she goes on sale, and I skipped Ghoulia's base doll, so if I like her Neon Frights version better I'll get her instead.

I really do want to understand where Mattel is spending money, it’s wild to me that the plastic accessories have such minimal-if ANY-painting details, the hair is always the worst fibers, I will never believe the excuse of finding the “right” color. The fashion is soo poorly made with nothing but raw laser cut edges where they aren’t even necessary. But with this line in particular, HOW did their whole “glow” gimmick fall soooo short?! When OMG did the neon line is was INCREDIBLE, from the makeup to the hair, accessories, fashion, even hidden details. It was all spectacular and really innovative. With is it really feels like ok let’s throw some cheap plastic in there and call it glowing fun. It’s WILD

Sure these are “targeted” at children but we are living in 2023, if people choose to be naive and think that companies are completely ignoring an adult demographic then you really need a reality check. I’m an adult, I collect dolls, I’m sorry if having opinions that would BETTER a line are insulting to you. Why would I ever make suggestions that would make something worse? Them randomly adding pink is infuriating. I know they sprinkle in pink because higher ups think it appeals to girls more. Girls don’t care. They like all colors. Every little girl isn’t going to be obsessed with the color pink. When I get more g3 (all I have is Abbey) I’m definitely going over pink where it doesn’t need to be there. Like on this Toralie. That random pink heel ruined the whole outfit imo

You don’t need a black light at all! That’s just a way to make it more clear on camera. You just have to put her under a normal light for a while and then when you turn it off you get the residual glow. I just wanted to show the black light since it makes everything pop

not a big fan of this Skulltimate Secrets line. I kind of feel like having themed SS lines seems like a detriment to the resulting doll fashion so far. Id rather SS just be a way to get more general clothing for specific characters that could pair well with their signature doll clothes AND get a clothing storage container. Making multiple pieces within the same theme like winter/whatever neon frights is seems to sort of diminish the clothing quality and outfit cohesion. Id rather just get one well-made themed outfit than 2 "meh" outfits.
