So happy to finally see Sina Frei win again! She's so nice and cute... 1st world champion of this discipline (2021), also olympic vice-champion that year behind Jolanda Neff and Linda Indergand for the only full 1 nation bike olympic's podium of History... but since, no GREAT result from her, who won many races in junior and then in U23 categories. And so touching to hear her dedicate her win to the regretted Muriel Ferrer, 18 years old, medallist with the swiss mixed relay at the European championships this year, who died the previous day after an hard crash at the road Worlds in Switzerland. RIP Muriel!

Great to see Sina Frei win, and WHAT A DOMINATION this season (like in 2022) by the other Swiss woman, Alessandra Keller, who already won the overall of short-track even before to race the last of the year, next week. A victory adds 250 points to the winner, and Keller has 420 points of advance, so, even if she stayed home next week-end and that the 2nd of the ranking won, Alessandra would still be 170 points ahead of her, almost a victory; so, she almost have 3 victories of advance now; after only 6 races, it's crazy! And, like in 2022 too, Keller will even pretty surely (99%) win BOTH the rankings. The XCC one as just said, but also the world cup overall, counting XCC AND XCO's points.

Well, no, Keller did't need to finish in the top 11 to win the overall. She needed this in order to win it ALREADY 1 RACE BEFORE the last XCC of the season; but even if Keller finished there 15th, 20th or 30th, as she was 420 points in front of the 2nd of the rankings, she'd've stayed the probable winner of it at 99% even finishing 30th of this short-track. Anyways, she made a top 8, less good than her 6 previous XCC of 2024, but way enough to be crowned even if she stays at her hotel next week-end instead of racing. She's AMAZING! Like in 2022, she'll win BOTH the rankings: short-track AND world cup overall.
