There's only 1 beam even though i spawned in 20 Jade Light Eximus.
16 hits in 8 seconds (0.5 seconds per hit), each hit does 2x damage from the last one
Edit: The Eximus' damage after fix is around 2mil now

It’s the main reason I’m running sacrifice on my sentinel whenever i can. Unless you’re hitting at least one enemy the entire time you’re in “undying” sand form, you’re not going to get enough charges before the invisible timer runs out

Just as a reminder: the Jade Light is a direct reference to what Ballas referred to as the Orokin's method of execution: a disintegration beam through your head. It's also why Dagath has a hollowed out head. Parvos retrofitted Jade's power for his Eximus project to make that as a weapon since the two had a history

Before the jade eximus I could jump into a crowd of max level steel path orokin gunner eximus units and be completely fine after procing splinter storm on everyone with my gara. The existence of the jade eximus unit has made it so I can no longer stand still and do this, I now have to avoid the lime laser if I want to live.

That fucking sound is going to haunt me in my dreams. DE really needs to get this shit checked because (in SP): * the scaling is insane as shown; * the eximus seemingly don't need LoS to target you and keep the beam chasing you which is against the convention of how the new eximus are supposed to operate under; * there's no cooldown on how frequently you can be targeted. Sure this won't be a problem in the future once the operation ends, but I'd rather this thing was future-proofed just in case; * the orb generating the beam will often be inside ceilings in the older tilesets and even some new ones, making it impossible to deal with the beam without running away or facetanking it; * the orb itself is at an uncomfortable angle to shoot and has way too much health, unlike something like the arbitration drones which maintain a constant health at some point exactly because their challenge isn't ticking down their health, but just aligning your crosshair on them; * on the same issue of tilesets, some maps don't accomodate sprinting all the time and the beams are barely slower than a full sprint. Combine with the inability to shoot down the orb and you'll have to drop everything and run away and reset which isn't challenging, but very much annoying;* the orb itself is at an uncomfortable angle to shoot and has way too much health, unlike something like the arbitration drones which maintain a constant health at some point exactly because their challenge isn't ticking down their health, but just aligning your crosshair on them; * this is straight-up shutting down warframes that rely on external protection over DR like Frost and Zephyr, which also happen to be my favourite frames so fuck me specifically I guess. It would be much better if they changed entirely how the jade eximus worked, having the orb float around the unit instead of chasing you around like a rabid dog. Even leaving its damage and tracking untouched you would fix most of the complaints because: 1. the eximus unit needs constant LoS with the players; 2. barriers and barrier-like protective abilities are allowed to be effective; 3. the orb is in a more favorable position to shoot; 4. you know which jade eximus is targeting you as following the direction of the beam will point you toward it; 5. players can't sabotage a defense/MD mission by standing on top of an objective; 6. you could, potentially, shut down the jade eximus prematurely by shooting down the orb before it can target you (like how you can shoot down a nullifier's drone when it's still undeployed, though I would expect the orb to regenerate after a while).

they added it because of afk farmers sitting in corners and doing 10h missions without pressing a button, I am quite sure of that, the thing is perfectly designed for that and it shows when looking at the dmg, nothing can withstand that dmg you need invuln or youre dead, my tankiest warframe builds just get zapped, the first 2-3 secs are just fine and then it just onetapps you. The stupid thing is you should be able to shieldgate it just fine, just play brief respite and spam your abilities every second, for example khora can do that no problem and khora is one of the warframes used for afk farming in Lua Surv...

@@vendetta9399 Yep, and the only other way to interrupt the beam beside destroying the tanky orb (that won't stay around long so you end up running away from and shooting at it for half its total lifetime, so it's a non-solution) is by stunning or killing the eximus unit, which benefits DPS frames the most. Now, in normal missions the issue isn't quite so dramatic because there is always a decent break between times where the game throws an eximus unit at you, but it still bugs me that these eximus units just break all the rules that DE set to themselves for making enemies "fair", in seemingly what's their attempt to solve an issue that they haven't actually solved with the introduction of this new unit: the absence of LoS checks, the clipping, the forced single solution, all this goes into making jade light eximus bad.

It can reach and destroy Grineer Hijack targets through closed gates with ZERO line of sight between the enemy and the player unless you have AoE damage that can kill the Eximus through level geometry, and decimates Excavation targets. The only hard counter is to either play Banshee or subsume Silence on another frame, and I 100% expect DE to gut either the subsumable version or the ability itself.

De wanted to stop idle players but the dmg does not need to ramp up that high and that fast. All they’ve done is made a beam that will instantly kill you if you get stuck in a casting animation, knocked down, you open chat to type or any kind of action that you need to stop moving to do. I agree idle players is somewhat cheese. But the solution isn’t to making standing still illegal.

Here is a magic trick for you. If you go into operator and go into void mode you can open chat and stay in the voidmode with out pressing the button anymore. Then you can type without dieing.

understanding green eximus make me hate them. laser almost same speed warframe movement just running shot off laser 3s will spawn again if more green eximus but stand still cant do banshee or mesa or not to mention revive your allies or hack consoles. capture. oh laser hitting player per hit more dmg so will be issues for defences or mobile defence and excavations.

These new elevator missions even on steel path are so easy, you can solo them. They don't require kills or survival. Just a boring ride. Just suk it up and play, if you find someone just put them on your 100-ignore list and move on. In this event I already encountered toxic players blaming each other for "not putting enough effort" yeah a 4% telling that to a 37% yeah right.. I legit dont understand what your alls problem is. Like just go into operator void mode and open chat. You stay invis and are unkillable for 30 sec fully afk. And if i read that you cant sprint away from the laser. Just bullet jump. Who in hell even uses sprint? You press sprint like 1 time in a bullet jump combo and there arent many people who actually even do that. Next getting cought in a casting animation. You have heard of Natural talent or yellow shards or even using madurai? Next if the laser kills your defense objective maybe dont afk on it the entire mission and afk 2 meters to the left. This honestly sounds like a skill issue to me.
