Let us remember that Hunhow is also a father too, the sentient farmer designed to terraform the planets of Tau who was blessed by the Void to have to two children (Natah and Erra) along with Praghasa. And how it ended for him and his family, Praghasa dying during the Old War (with her corpse used by Ballas in the New War), his daughter Natah becoming a new tool for the Orikin, and his son Erra dying twice so that his body could be used as a new archon (Pazuul). Perhaps Hunhow wants the Stalker not to go through the same thing as him and offer a better destiny for this new life.

This track has half the lietmotifs in the game. Sorren's story is the culmination of so many events in Warframe's history... The Naga drums, pounding as they did on the night of the Tenno Rebellion. Jade's harmonies, clashing with the shouts and roars of the Warframes (which, too, would have clashed with Octavia's Anthem on the Night of Naga Drums). The Sentient leitmotif, a reminder of their manipulations which brought Sorren's eternal despair. And now, a new leitmotif - the bamboo flute, representing Sorren, a warrior without a master. Ronin. Stalker. Father. What a fantastic piece of music. My lord, the story in this piece alone is worthy of literary analysis all by itself.
@Ultrapyre19 күн бұрын
Adding onto this, you can recognize the synths from the Corpus Ship battle theme, which is likely associated with Parvos' involvement in trying to steal away what was left of Jade and use it for his own ends. This one battle theme feels like it's telling a story all on its own with the use of several familiar themes alone... the music team's REALLY cooking for this one.

Spoilers The fact that Ballas stooped so low that he Helminth'd a pregnant woman really demonstrates how irredeemably evil he is.
@enderreaper924020 күн бұрын
he probably did it on purpose to torture and experiment on her baby. From what i got from the quest, stalkers class of soldier was not aloud to have children or romance, kind of like, eternally bound in servitude kind of deal, but, he did have a child, so the orokin punished him by wiping his memories (or heavily damaging them) of his family, and then using the helminth on his wife and baby, probably intending to torture her, and experiment on her baby.
@jankieek821820 күн бұрын
I am 80% sure Ballas probably just got Jade to himself after she was sentenced to become a warframe as a punishment by the 7 and just didn't care, which doesn't make him a good guy but let's not act as if the experiment on the pregnant lady was some sort of his master plan when the quest suggests she was punished by being turned into a warframe, and at the time Margulis should still be alive so he hadn't yet made his great plan to destroy the orokin empire (she was killed by the Jade Light which the new event seems to suggest have been made based on Jades power so Ballas wasn't as unstable at the time where Margulis lived).
@AlkanthorTheDragon20 күн бұрын
Fuck. I dont know why I thought, Jade was one of older Tenno kids who by the time of Old War was mature enough to have romance with Sorren and for whatever reason got fused with her frame after the empire's fall. But your explanation makes much more sense. Thank you.
@MakutaNazo20 күн бұрын
The Orokin were known to not only punish a transgressor, but everyone associated with them. Umbra's son and family, the families of the Zariman protestors, and now Sorren and his secret lover Jade. Both were turned into immortal warframes, one to forget about love and serve the empire... the other, punished to eternally gestate a child she can never hold. There is a REASON the Tenno wiped them out.

The same ticks that were used for Sentient themes in this music feels... different to me. Not to mention there are Sentient jump pads in the mission, as if he is genuinely trying to help
@DioStandProud18 күн бұрын
Hunhow has grown in his time under the waves and since TNW. He's much more remorseful and he knows better than anyone what it means to lose your family, your loves. The way he spoke of him in the message post quest makes him sound like a concerned grandpa. Really hope one day we can bring Hunhow out from beneath Uranus and give Stalker the most unimaginable extended family ever.
@arandom35yearold13 күн бұрын
Hunhow, like the stalker, like the tenno, are just another victim in the increasingly growing list of victims left behind by the orokin. We all may differ in our philosphies, goals and morality, but there is a shared origin, and a shared enemy. Hunhow clearly has had time to reconsider everything he has done in his time under the oceans of uranus. He also understand the pain of losing his own family, and probably could not bear witnessing the possibility of a new life being born denied, the same possibility the sentient lost to the orokin ambitions. We are not enemies as much as individuals with clashing ideals. He is basically a grumpy grandpa at this point lol

@d01nut320 күн бұрын
As I see it, Sorren and Jade were both turned into warframes. Sorren, as a low guard, became a defiled excalibur, and Jade was made into her own unique frame as punishment for her forbidden relationship with Sorren.

@@wolfofwarframe3807 It might be that when he was changed, the orokin tampered with his mind. Or.. we know that when a human gets turned into a warframe, their brain suffers for it. My working theory is that the Stalker's loyality towards the orokin was so ingrained in him, that it was almost the only thing that remained in his mind.
