I think the next stage should be a multi planet war and maintaining a battleship with fighters? It would be a huge project. Establishing a base on each planet or unlock one planet at time and it gets tougher each time.

NO no no, no multiplayer dude, lol It can be optional, no problem, but the main campaign needs to continue just like Xcom 1 and 2: single player, story-driven, etc... That's the way. There are countless mp games out there, but very few like Xcom. If they maintain the game as mod friendly as possible, improve performance and graphics, add new skills, etc.. Basically make more of the same, improve a great formula, that is enough for me.

1994 UFO Enemy Unknown (Defense) vet here! Central Archives is the single, good reason to buy this DLC before starting XCOM-2 campaign. I just finished (in 2021!) first XCOM and i was surprised there is that in-between storyline bridge between XCOM and XCOM 2 - great thing!

Firaxis is a PC based game company, they have only ported the Xcom games to consoles due to popular demand, so PC is their main territory they are comfortable working in.

I played the first mission yesterday and that was fire. I was disappointed about the lack of voice acting because there's too much stuff going on in the background to read the backstory (which was very good), but it was challenging but fun. Getting gold is really really hard.

(Spoiler Alert) Too bad you can't bring a shotgun party again. You fight other enemies on the new Newfoundland missions. The last mission from the 7 missions is probably the only mission that resembles the Newfoundland mission from Enemy Within.

Yes and no to the first question, you'll start seeing the locations, but the equipment will need to be unlocked via the new central archive missions.

get the license to Power Rangers and make a tactical game similar to X Com. Most fans of Toku shows also love SRPGs. Plus any Xcom fan would love awesome mech battles and building and upgrading. Ground team attacks customizable weapons and finishers. Transforming/morphing. Guys i'm telling you, your sitting on the Arkham Asylum of licensed RPGs. And if the game has any kind of cinematic story, EVERY single ranger fan with a console will buy this game

It simply means if you own WotC you can log into Steam and you will own TLP for free. After Dec 3rd, if someone didn't already get it as previously mentioned, then they have to pay to be able to own the DLC.
