This is random but maybe this is how people try to read/manipulate random events IRL through superstitions, astrology or divination. Because it sure seems random how fire or lava or crops can ultimately influence iron golems.

i wanted to make a ore RNG manipulator and i was wondering what i would need and where it can be found. also does it work in version 1.15.2?

This does not work in versions past 1.12.2. Earthcomputer has made a program to find locations for oreng on your seed, but since it sounds like you are playing on newer versions you are kinda screwed. #neverupdate

If the lightning strikes make fire blocks why does the machine keep working for multiple strikes? Shouldn’t the fire get random ticked, breaking the machine by changing the number of rng calls?

In normal vanilla it does that. In this video we force the seed into a specific value simulating a what if chunk X was loaded scenario to develop other parts of the contraption. In survival without the editing the lightning fire would as you mention disrupt the RNG.

Why Minecraft is so complicated?

Minecraft is an extremely open ended game. The base mechanics aren't terribly complicated, but when you put everything together and run it all at once you have to have priority systems in place to streamline certain functions while prioritizing a sort of loading que. I'm not a developer or anything, but the best way I can think about explaining it is, every second it has a list of things it has to do in a specific order. So it can load all the game data in the most efficient way possible.
