I find the time to kill very odd. More often than any other game, I find myself hitting opponents but they survive just long enough to lose my line of sight or into cover. Also some abilities are just better than others, many use the cloaking ability or the goggles to see through walls, at least on the simple modes like Domination cause many treat it like TDM.

@@JayCord00 for them to create New Game Modes we haven't seen before or adapt on them. With an actual theme and story that captivates you. Nobody cares for new cod maps because they relate to nothing. Old cod maps featured in the campaigns or were similar and it was awesome. I'm just speaking from an FPS fan who likes the Old Call of Duty + Battlefield Games. These new games are lifeless. Battlefield 2042 doesn't even have a story the theme is basically pointless. Modern Warfare II doesn't have its own identity and is bland and dull using the name from their previous most iconic title manipulating OG players to purchase the game.

I have that exact scope mount for a mosin nagant that’s pretty wild. Looks promising, I personally love the characters and worlds Ubisoft has created. I would have liked a more of a lean towards realism - not as much as R6, but less towards the overwatch/power abilities style gameplay. However there is no doubt I will be playing this game. PS - TTK seems very quick, hopefully they fix this.

For the younger viewers: COD didn't always use the "classic" 3 lane design. That wasn't fully introduced until COD block ops era. Most people much preferred the design of COD up through the original MW2. The "classic 3 lane design" is what killed COD in my opinion. It makes the game so much more evened out, much harder to outplay, and much more formulaic/boring. The 3 lane map design is honestly JUST LIKE SBMM in the way it flattens the curve and makes the game boring.

They have some form of mastery with bronze silver and gold camos at specific weapon levels but since progression is bugged they took it out and unlocked all weapons, attachments, and equipment for everyone to use. I’m sure they’ll add it back on release tho since it was already in the beta. Hopefully they add even more mastery camos.

I've seen so many shooter previews from different channels that always add in "some of the devs use to work on COD." (generalizing the statement of course) What I find interested about that, is imagine a new retail store opening up and saying "most of these employees worked for Walmart." How many were there for a couple of months and got laid off? How many were there for a year and got fired? There's one thing CoD has that Xdefiant doesn't that'll determine whether people leave CoD and that's anti-cheat. Most legit players will take a slower paced game with SBMM over lobbies full of cheaters. If Xdefiant doesn't come with a robust anti-cheat it'll be dead in a few months with every lobby being cheat v cheat.

They could make a mode called zone defense… Instead of bomb sites there’s a 5x5 foot circle that a chosen player needs to occupy to set a timer. At the beginning of a round, a designated player is voted on the rush towards one of the two circles to activate the timer. If that player dies, a random player could be chosen (or perhaps the best alive player is selected). Or if they want to make it like s & d just have a player run over the voter players body. The enemy team would have to occupy the circle for 5 seconds to disable the timer and win the round. Similar one life style game mode without blantantly copying search while having the same rush search provides

Personally the biggest problem I have with CoD is the simple fact that they could fix a lot of the games issues and choose not to! For example, we have bad servers and activison has the money to update them but they don’t. We have a lot of quality of life problems but they don’t want to address those either. Unfortunately I feel like mw 2019 gave them too much confidence and now they are pursuing milking the good will they gained for all the money they can. It’s about profit and not about the game

I think that their problem is that they listen to the wants and needs of streamers/pros which in the long run have been a massive contrast to what the average, casual player wants. SBMM, stupidly fast abusable movement systems and gearing COD in general to always feel like a competitive game even in quickplay/casual games and that has started to alienate a lot of players. As for the server issues, content creators and pros have only just started to speak up against acti on this so it'll probably be years before they start losing a big enough amount of free publicity from them to gain the will to fix em. Hopefully free alternative offerings like XDefiant and The Finals will take the rod out of Activision's ass and get them to sort their shit out, because these games have no chance of becoming 'COD Killers' now the COD war machine has been chugging full force for years. If vanguard couldn't kill COD, nothing can.

It's definitely not killing Cod (to big to die) and I actually haven't heard someone genuinely say it (I'm guessing Cod players started ironically saying it to poke fun at the game implying its death since these "game killers" usually die out). I remember when everyone hated this game when the first trailers came out (mainly ubisoft fan boys mad that ubisoft was working on other games when there favorite game wasn't perfect as if they can't expand or have separate studios to work on things). I'm happy how much it's been polished as originally it looked interesting to me but also had the vibe of just some mobile area shooter.

Literally the only people who dom't want skill based matchmaking are top players who don't want a challenge and just want to dumpster noobs. The same type of players smurf and ruin for newer players. They just want to be on top every single game without competition. Yes it's fun, but have you ever considered that it's not fun to be matched with top 1% players when you're part of the bottom 80%? I tried playing Vanguard just a few weeks after its release, and I faced players who had prestiged multiple times in my first few matches. I had no clue how the map looked, they had better attachments and guns than me, they had better movement, better everything. That was not fun at all. So I just stopped playing altogether (because the zombies mode was so f*cking bad). How is that good for anyone else but the top players? They camped all of the best spots and only used what I assume were meta weapons. SBMM is good if you implement it right.
