Yes a lot of casual players might buy the game and play every now and again, but the hardcore fans of COD style shooters won’t want to leave the comfort that XDefiant offers. Every year COD managed to implement things that make a casual round of COD a competitive match or unbearable because of some “innovative change” that’s been implemented. My money is on XDefiant here. Yes the hit reg is an issue, but I still feel like it’s always been the same feeling with COD just less obvious with all these distracting elements in the game. That being said, I hope Black Ops will surprise us all and be something like BO2/BO3 was. My favorite games of all time.

The jumping penalties just aren't enough in my opinion. The limit they set, I feel, is not low enough. The times I'm killed by some freaking frog is getting more and more frequent. I've seen some folk bounce off a wall and then waste me whilst jumping some more. This and the fact that some abilities are utterly broken are dragging this cracking game down. Streaking in TDM is phenomenal for ranking weapons and farming xp in general. A 5 kill streak is the same as 10 regular kills, it has really forced me to play a little more cautiously and be super aware of my position in relation to spawns and map control. I have to say I love how they handled xp in TDM because this mode is literally all about KD. I do think they should award obj play much more heavily in other modes though, attack and defend kills should carry +50 with maybe some sort of compounding xp for chaining those obj linked kills also.

Lvl 200 Ak-47, Lvl 152 MDR , Lvl 111 ACR. Trying to get the LVOA-C to 100 and then round out my SMGs. Since I don’t like the movement and reload with LMG. Sniping been fun when picking em up 😂😂😂. Double XP helped I play most TDM or Hotshot while grinding these up. Double XP helped but I just recently used a couple of double XP weapon boat for the MDR.

Try sliding then jumping movement with the L115 instead of just head on sprinting then shooting cause I think it’s bugged when I sprint and shoot it delays exactly how you said but when I slide jump and move forward a bit it doesn’t do it almost at all

Guide is false, it takes Espresso 3h to go from lv1 to lv400, I am grinding for 10 days and I still haven't reach lv300. Ok in all seriousness, this is assuming you can hit 15 killstreaks very consistently throughout the entire match. Basically you just have to GIT GUD. Many of us unfortunately, are not good. For a very good player like Espresso he can hit 6-10 killstreaks with ease, while for an absolute dogwater player like me, at best I spawn, kill someone and die. Or at worst, I get trapped in the spawndiespawndieSPAWNDIESPAWNDIESPAWNDIEARGHHHHHHH cycle. And I havent even started to consider if it is actually easier to kill on console while PC players are fucking sweaty maniacs in their movement, with many players furiously and violently dropshotting, jumpshotting, or twerking like no tomorrow. XDefiant is a fantastic game to improve on gunplay, but 3h is a theoretical magical number that is achieveable by only the Top 500 in the world. For others, the guide is still true: run TDM, try to kill as many enemies in a single life, and pop double EXP, especially during double EXP weekend. But dun expect to hit 3h that quickly. Prepare for the grind to last 6h, 8h... maybe 1 day.

As a casual who gets around 20-25 kills a game, and usually 1.5-2K/D, it takes MUCH longer to level my weapons. I get about 2½ levels a game without double xp, so at 15 minutes a game thats 20 hours to get a single weapon gold, 40 hours for titanium prisma. Im now 50 hours in the game, and only have one weapon gold, and one bronze. Its gonna take a while.

But no matter how you try to twist the narrative, my point still stands! Camos and skins are useless and meaningless, you don't need a new weapon added every single day, specially when you barely played with half of them you already have! You don't constantly need new maps. You don't need new gamemodes, because you won't play them more than once anyway. Unless you are both semi pro, and treat this game like its a fulltime job, you still have tons of camos to grind. You still have a battlepass to go through, you are getting a map every month, and on average a weapon every month, though you can ofc unlock those faster. On top of that, there is twitch drops, and tons of opertunity to waste way too much money in the shop! And don't get me wrong - I can also apreciate a cool skin! But aside for those 2 seconds of joy when I get it, it has absolutely zero baring on how much I enjoy playing the game. Yepp, known issue currently (along with Intel Suit from Echelon). Workaround I've found to work for me is to swap either abilities or factions mid-game (I'd just suggest ability so you don't lose ultimate progress) and then swap back to the Biovida Boost upon respawn when you have the other ability.

I'm not a good player but half the time, my streak comes from Bouncing Betty Kills (as i cover 2 entrances with them with Deadsec and then once recharged, replace the betty) along with gunfire but if the enemy is wise to my tricks i tend to struggle as i camp a lot unless i play Objectives like Occupy.

*Lots* of time played to recognize map flow, spawns, I keep track of the mini-map often where my teammates are vs where open space is (open space usually means you're in enemy territory), I use a headset and can hear enemy audio cues, etc. Things like Echelon's Intel Suit & Sonar Goggles also help in pinpointing exact locations of enemies.

I mean... When I play OBJ gamemodes, all my teammates care about is kills! And then the few times I decide to take a TDM game... I mostly sit alone, or with one other guy going positive while my teammates die so fast I suspect they are nading them self down in life before every gunfight - so if more started to play like kills matter, in the only gamemode where kills actually matter - I would be happy!

The easiest way is for me to obtain these weapon camos is to quit my job, divorce my wife, strap on a diaper and let my lawn grow 3 feet tall and just play this game 16 hours a day.

Grinding to level 400 you have to be brain dead and you need to touch grass the camo is so ass and shit it doesn’t even cover the entire gun that poor their no way I am grind 400 levels and it don’t even cover whole gun bro the level 400 and level 300 camo are basically the same what difference it only the change in colour sequence instead of green it start with like pink it so dumb xdefiant needs tips from cod especially on camo instead of levels they should of made like challenges xdefiant is horrible but I still play
