Them singing "I'm confused" while you realized Gaon and Jooyeon aren't the same guy was hilarious actually XD. Yeah they had very similar hair in this era, sorry. If you're looking for good vocals you're certainly at the right address. Apart from all their original songs and an array of covers they've also been on Immortal Songs thrice now. The last one in particular was pretty insane.

Come join the Villains! We don't have cookies but we have strawberry cake 😉 I promise if you get more into their music that'll make sense at a top tier joke lol. So they are a 6 member band, with 4.5 vocalists and 1.5 doing support lines. Thankfully bc of their instruments and the fact that they're always set up in the same arrangement it's a bit easier to learn their names than most kpop groups: Gunil on drums and occasional vocals (he has a great voice, it's just hard to sing and drum at the same time) is the oldest and leader Jooyeon on bass front right is lead vocals and the maknae Jungsu on keyboard is also lead vocals, always positioned on the far left O.de on synth at the right is vocals and rap Gaon is the rhythm guitar at the front next to Jooyeon, also vocals and rap (you're the first person i've heard think they were twins, but honestly when you pointed out the styling i kinda get it lol) Junhan at the back left is main guitar and the only member who doesn't really sing aside from a handful of harmonies and effects-type lines like whispers, but if you hear a sick guitar riff that's always him I know everyone says this about their favs, but just trust this total stranger on the internet that XH has a truly no-skip discography. I'm actually kind of glad you started w/ these songs, as they're the title track and a bside from their 2nd album Overload which is probably the most divisive amongst villains. I like to call it the Tim Burton album, all of the songs have a sort of kooky, quirky vibe but still very artistically satisfying. Their more recent albums are more about them staking their identity as a rock band, rather than a kpop group that plays instruments. If you want to continue w/ the title track and a bside from each of their albums, these are the quintessential picks: debut single Happy Death Day Hello World - tt Test Me, bside Strawberry Cake Deadlock - tt Freakin Bad, bside Bicycle and Good Enough (yes, I'm cheating by picking 2 bsides, but just listen to em and you'll understand why I can't choose) Livelock - tt Break The Brake, bside Pluto Troubleshooting (their first full length album) - tt Little Things, bsides Money On My Mind and Dreaming Girl (we know no rules here, you have to have both)

you see these two, Gaon on the right and Jooyeon on the left, always stand in the middle (they all have pretty fixed positions while practicing/performing) and i suppose they could've been styled the same for a reason of whole concept of this comeback to create that visual of a mirror: just to add a little to the themes of a haircut, self-image, whole mirrors scene in the mv, noticing changes, not liking what you see in a mirror (they have another b-side on this album "crack in the mirror" and there's whole storyline throughout tracks about self-crisis and such and x-mas is actually is the last one on the album) soooo yeah that's pretty fun^^ and watching you realise that they're not the same person was hilarious!! these two actually are twin flames irl, they're very close and alike personality-wise

For some context Jooyeon (bassist) and Jungsu (keyboard on the left) are the main vocalist while Gaon (rhythm guitar) and O.de (synthesizer on the right) mainly do rapping but they also do vocals on the songs at times. While Gunil (drums) and Junhan (lead guitar) do adlibs and occasional lines in their songs. It's so funny that your introduction to them were songs from overload, it's their most experimental mini album and their most divisive as some people liked it and others not as much as their other work. They're always changing it up between albums, so you're never fully getting the same stuff. They put out a full album and it's their most rock oriented body of work; genuinely one of my favorite releases this year. Gaon and Jooyeon are not twins but they're a dynamic duo in the band, so that's probably why they gave them similar hairstyles lol. X-MAS is a Christmas song, but it's a more creepy rendition of one. 😂

You mentioning F.T. Island is a great start cause Jooyeon (long-haired bassist whose falsetto you loved) has gone viral a few times for his range and vocal control and is often described as a vocalist comparable to Lee Honggi I think you'd love their cover of (G)-Idle's Tomboy where they completely change the vibe of the original song and add their own flair, plus I think it's a great way to see what you're getting yourself into :)
