In the video you are defending the defective screen by saying it wasn't meant to be used on the road, but this is precisely how we use laptops - often taking them out of the house, they may go to the beach, pool, coffee shop, etc. If this product can't be moved around and transported to different places like we do with our laptops, then why buy it? But on top of it all, the latest email XEBEC sent out advertising this product shows a guy sitting on a chair at the beach using it, as well as someone laying on a mattress in the back of an SUV/camper in the desert, using it. So clearly they are promoting it as an out of the office, mobile, on the road and out in-nature type of use. The headline of the ad says "Where is your office? and also says "Welcome to the future of work" while showing these two photos of people working outside in remote locations. I would return the darn thing for a refund or replacement. Piece of crap. PS it looks clunky to me and the two screens seem rather tiny. There are other products like this that you may want to check out such as Trio and OFIYAA screen monitor extensions that seem better made and are less expensive.

Poor strain relief on the connector mounted to the pcb of the monitor. Typical oversight of mfg. the side to side & up & down torque (normal wear) of the cable causes the intermittent connection to eventually complete failure. Cables should have been 90 degree angle. If you can get into the PCB, with soldering iron can re solder to make solid connection again.

It looks like they changed the design of the cable to be 90-degree at the connector. Have you tried this, and if so did it fix the problem?

This isn't a review, it's someone who doesn't understand laptop use and mobile work telling a user just to sit at a desk with her on-the-go setup. There is no technical description, no troubleshooting (except the basic cable checking done by the user), no in depth analysis or solutions. Did anyone reach out to the manufacturer for help? Let me save everyone else some time and summarize what was shared: User : After 2 months of mobile use I'm having an issue with the connections to my portable monitors. "Reviewer" : Your product is crappy and it's your fault for not sitting at home at a desk with your laptop and portable monitors. The end.
