@@MoonMoonTM yes all idols have personalities and had them before debuting, however most idols debuted at a very young age and their personalities weren’t 100% developed, and so as they grew in the spotlight a big chunk of their personality developed around being an idol since that’s what they know and we’re surrounded by. On the other hand these guys built theirs outside of the idol life and so being an idol is not central to their personalities.

Your personality also constantly evolves. Not to mention there are plenty of people who become idols as adults and end up going from a good person to someone who let's fake get to them. It's honestly such a backhanded "compliment".

Yes your personality still develops as an adult but the fundaments of it are set when you’re young. Our childhood experiences affect out behaviour and personality into adulthood, our early experiences shape our belief about ourselves, others and the world. Debuting adults instead of kids in their teens would help them to feel mentally matured and prepared for the world that they will face in the entertainment industry.

I don't feel weird with girl groups, and I still enjoy being a regular fan of boy groups like listening to music and appreciating them. I think the stanning thing is because in kpop, a lot of content companies put out for bg's is "boyfriend material" aimed at young girls, and sometimes sexualizing them a little. It's content I'd rather not immerse myself in. It's mostly with members being 17-19 that feels wrong for me.

Doha 오빠 is already a bias of mine since 2016.When he joined BOYS24 and was first introduced as a trainee who got accepted in WM Ent. Unfortunately he wasn't able to stay there but I still supported him. He returned to KZbin, enlisted in the military, auditioned for Mix9, formed a pre-debut group where they did covers, did gigs in Japan and finally officially debuting in KR. 😭 I'm so proud of you!!
