This would be a better comparison if BOTH LENS were in the same exact F-STOP You have the Canon in T1.3 and the Xeen in T1.5 So of course the canon lens is gone to be softer but I want to see them in both the same Aperture, seems like somebody’s playing favorites to me

I'm new to learning about cine lenses. What do you mean by "focus breathing"? I thought these were manual focusing lenses. If they are manual, how can you get breathing while focusing? I thought that was a problem with AF lenses. Thank you

Focus breathing is the lens zooming slightly while focussing as the lens elements move to focus certain lenses tends to zoom in and out. This can happen with manual or auto focus lenses.

@@Franksiretv you don’t need an adapter if you get the Xeen in ef mount. The pocket 6k pro is a native ef mount.

@@madjack8602 When using the Samyang Xeen on bmpcc 6k pro, do we need to consider any crop factor due to its super-35 sensor? Crop of x1.5? So the 85mm would actually be something like 128mm as a full frame comparison? I come from Sony Alpha 7 full frame sensors and used to the view angles of that, I wanna be sure before I buy the bmpcc and lenses I get what I really need. Cheers!

Wow great comparrison 👍👍 I thinking to use one of yhem for astro photography ...because i have way more control over the focusing at infinity . What is realy hard ...because star are not on infinity but like 0.1 mm before it on an normal photography lens .. T1.5 is about f 1.4 right ? Thats what i'm using now 😉 Grtzz Johny Geerts
