Ghosts of the Deep in LESS than 10 Minutes! (

Really clean run, we got within 20 seconds of our sum of best segments. Main timesave was our entrance and final boss being a bit cleaner than in the 10:17 but lost some time on the transition to the final boss. We are likely not coming back to this until newer strats are found. I'll most likely be working on a solo speedrun and solo RoN on hunter over on my twitch @ / xemo .

Run Explanation:
Entrance is just 2 warlocks with Winter's Guile Heat Rises builds just going back and forth with wizard spawns. After the 3rd cycle, one leaves, swaps to a hunter, and hits a checkpoint at the bottom of the beginning water section. The 3rd player does a DSM (default spawn manipulation) and goes to the first boss to pull us.
In Echtar, both hunters go underwater and grab symbols while the warlock uses Heat Rises + Touch of Flame, Restoration x2, Sunbracers build to clear the room. They Fourth Horseman for the Lucent Wizards and drops a Luna's well and swaps to Rain of Fire for quick reloads.
For Simmumah, 2 players instantly grab their symbols while 1 stays outside to start creating the triangle. Once both players come outside, the outside player goes and grabs the 3rd symbol to start DPS. We use 1 Gathering Storm, 1 Well, and 1 Tether with 1 Gjallarhorn, 1 Cold Comfort with Envious Assassin + Bait and Switch, and 1 Hothead with Clown Cartridge and Tracking Module.

I could see it being a mechanic in a future dungeon where if your quick enough, the enemy doesn't have the encounter set up yet, and the guardian prevents the ritual entirely just moving on the the traversal section.

we have 3 players at 1820, one using an envious assassin + bait and switch rocket, and one on hothead with clown cartridge while the 3rd person uses G horn.

The thing is here they really did do every encounter. They just skipped the traversal sections. That's maximum entertainment density right there. Instead of watching people do traversal quickly you instead see them do it REALLY quickly on top of showing extreme skill and mechanics during all fights. How can that be upsetting???

I got a couple questions. How does the Hunter kill himself with one mountain top shot? Is it because of old 0 power armor, if so can you even get that anymore? Second how do you guys know where the wizards are gonna spawn in the first encounter. It looks like you don’t even look and you just know. Great run btw!

You can pull a 15 power class item from leveling in the armour section of collections. Also depending on what the trail is it'll always be the same path so it's not too hard to memorize.

Storse answered them pretty well but with first encounter there are only 5 possible patterns and you get 4 of them in a run so it's fairly easy to memorize.

can you explain how you always manage to load 3 rockets into your heavy, I know you have to do rapid final blows with your other weapons in order to proc envious assassin but I almost always only get 2 rockets instead of 3, do I have to do rapid kills with both my other weapons or just more kills with one of them, dont understand how to consistently get 3
