LOVED this game when I was a kid. Used to go over to my aunt's house and play it with my cousins. Video games were so novel back then that our whole family from my mother to our grandma would sit around and play it with us. Those were awesome times.

Even though middle school was horrible for me. This game will be the best thing I remember from the early 2000s. I played this game everyday and on weekends and got better! I miss watching Xena on weekends and Hercules. Good times.

In 2000, my brother, my cousin and I spent a whole day playing it and we set a challenge to complete the game. We played in turns until three in the morning. We completed it and were very happy, then we went to sleep. What exhausted us the most was the dragon stage. We did not know how to kill it except with great difficulty.

Considering PS1 graphical limitation, this really looked so good. It looks even better than I remembered. The artist/art director + the team really did a great job, very beautiful atmosphere. And of course very great gameplay and I'm sure they had very good coder, the chakram is just great!

How different the game use to look like at the time. Its all about perspective! Watching the cam follow the chacram had me blown away! In all the ps1 games Ive played I dont remember playing anything with a mechanic like that. Super fast, smooth, and seemed to respond to physics and i dont know if its player directed or not but way to go devs!

The levels are so ugly yet so lovable at the same time. I remember I was obsessed with the waterfalls of the first level. And the cyclop was so memorable lmao

I never had a PlayStation as a kid, I always had a Nintendo 64, so anytime I touched a PS1 it was when I went to a friend's place, and more often than not, they never had a memory card. Xena was one of those games I remember trying out and getting a kick out of it. I never got very far past the island of Chronos, I do remember the cyclops. But the experience didn't last long as that neighbor left, and I haven't touched or thought of it since. Only last night did I suddenly remember it and chose to look this up after all these years, and I might try to see if I can snatch up an old copy, this looks like fun I missed out on!
