Here's the thing with DB Cooper, they never found a body. ANYWHERE.
@Defixio.3 жыл бұрын
i was sort of convinced that don draper would turn out to be DB cooper before the end of the series "madmen" . i forget all my reasons. they kept leaning on planes, and how he wanted to get away. one of his boss's name was cooper and a few other weird little hints like that.

Pretty sure this are old reactions, done in one sitting, so he might have already reacted to it and its on one of his vods from twitch or maybe not, and if he has, can someone link the twitch vod ?

@@astraea7424 I don't think so. I checked his twitch the other day, and the reaction he posted prior to this was only streamed on twitch a couple days before the KZbin upload.

Let's be real though.... If someone made a comic about a parachuting master mind that wears raybans at night it would be cool. Xeno is on to something here.

An old friend of mine jumped out of aircraft at night with sunglasses on multiple times. He also got drunk and 1/2 shat his pants on his porch because he accidentally "locked" us all out. He had two open windows and an unlocked garage door... Coolness doesn't really add to your performance under pressure.
@agentstepp2 жыл бұрын
He needed 4 because 2 were front and 2 rear and if he only requests one set then they could give him fake ones or small ones that would break his legs. He had to have them thinking he could bring a hostage with him so only genuine sets could be used (sets being one rear for a primary and one front for a backup). He only used one set because things went as planned.

I think the man died, he was likely ex-military and had drop training. He was also likely familiar with the surrounding area and asked for the flight to Mexico as a red herring for the police. I have a feeling he didn't take into account any delays, and I think he was expecting a jump close to sunset as opposed to in the dark. But given the situation, he didn't really have any choice but to stick with his original plan so he jumped into the night and hoped for the best. I have a feeling he's skewered on a tree somewhere in the Oregon woods.

That's for an average human, a Chad wearing sunglasses at night = 100% survived Juliane Koepcke survived a fall of 3,000 m (9,843 ft) without a parachute (The plane was struck by lightning) and broke a collarbone They say she was also wearing sunglasses but nothing confirmed

I do wonder though how the hell no one has found a body then.
@NostalgicMem0ries2 жыл бұрын
@@SeriousStriker they didnt knew where to search, his jump location was not known, just average. he might ahve landed in treets and stuck with parachute and his body detioriated in time, its not liek people go to hundreds of km of forest to look at all trees, but i think he landed on land died , his body was eaten by animals, what was left detiorated over years and not no evidence left.

ive seen a bunch of stuff on this case. my belief is he survived. I think he was Canadian military or ex-military he went upstream to the ocean then back to Canada. the money left behind could have been a payment for the travel by boat maybe even switching boats at sea. the original boat never got there payment for ...reasons. i think Mexico was a red heron and he had extra gear on the ground or in the plane. the main supporting factor is they found a small piece of paper that flew off the plane yet to this day no money or body. also the fbi would have more trouble collecting info on Canadian military than us citizens. In Canada or elsewhere it would be much easier to turn the money into a different currency. Alternatively the money found could have gotten away from him but the rest be true. I would think most evidence shows it was well orchestrated and planned. Or some crazy dudes corpse with shades on is dead next to 195 grand which translates to over a million dollars today

i completely agree with theory that he was from canada. but his survival is not so real. money he had would been seen on usa market at least once to this day, at least one banknot of that would been seen, but it wasnt, just those who dropped in river. also to survive jump at night in cold with non steerable parashute is insane, then to survive wilderness and cold even more insane.
