@@mattimeikalainen6963 I believe so, but once a blade becomes a flesh eater they no longer have the life span of a blade, it just depends on the properties of that blade. This is why that one flesh-eater grew old in Xenoblade 2 Nia happens to be a specialized healer as a blade so she will outlive other flesh eaters by nature, but that doesn't mean she can live forever. Poppi on the other hand is 100% artificial, as long as there are parts and ether she can live forever pretty much.

I personally liked the ending. A lot of people say the ending was bad because our main cast doesn't get to end up staying together, but for me I thought it opened up new futures. And I liked the family photo. Poppi Hero DLC in the future maybe? And the "Offseer Tune" at the end was a clever way of sending off this series. Can we finish up Xenoblade X now?

@@renren47618 Takahashi who is the director of these games specifically stated that Xenoblade 3 is the end of the story created by Klaus. And told players to use Xenoblade 3 and stories told in the expansion pass *to predict the future of Xenoblade. Kinda hard to use a prequel to a story as a way to predict how the future games will go, especially if the prequel is set thousands of years ago. It's very much likely that the DLC will play a huge part in the modern time setting for Xenoblade.* "Shulk and Rex were members of the Founders from the city" No they were not. The original founders were two women who instead of themselves, put their mentors as statues to represent them but they were not founders of the City. That was made pretty clear. It's also clear that the House Ortiz statue that looks closest to Shulk's XC1 design is a red herring considering it states he was born in the Aionios war cycle, and that his clothing is already outdated considering his design changes heavily in Future Connected. Not only that, but it's stated that he had to be taken out of the cycle to join the City in the first place because he was originally a Kevesi Soldier. Shulk does not fit that at all as he was not a Kevesi soldier at all. Not to mention that the House Rhodes statue is also incredibly odd in that she is an Agnian yet does not at all represent anybody from XC2 yet has a near identical biography to the Ortiz Statue. It's very clear that the House Reid statue and House Cassini statue are meant to represent Shulk and Rex respectively. Both statues are coincidentally representing people who are not related to the Reid or Cassini, their physical appearance matches closer to an older Shulk and Rex, not to mention that their descriptions match the two way too much for it to be anything else. The Reid statue emphasizing a calm demeanor whilst wielding a great red sword is pretty clearly Shulk. The Cassini statue mentioning the mentor possessing a young, spirit whilst wielding two greatswords is also clearly describing Rex who has Pyra and Mythra and whose core trait was his youth. Other than that, the DLC could be focused on the Rhodes and Ortiz founders who are likely descendants of Shulk and Rex or some time wimey shenanigans. However, my vote is that the expansion pass is set after the story of Xenoblade 3. It's important to note that Nia herself states, "I will see you soon, then," to the photo of the XC2 cast. There are a lot of things still left open and unexplained, one important thing being what is the time difference from the end of XC1 and XC2 to the creation of Origin. *Cause Nia implies Tora helped create Origin meaning that the XC2 cast was likely still alive during the world merge meaning there's a chance the XC1 cast is alive as well.* Another thing is that Origin and Z ended up pausing the world. They also state straight up that stopping Z would cause the worlds to collide once again clearly meaning that Z held everything in stasis and morphed the world in that stasis. And that his defeat means undoing what he had done and reverting the worlds back to some prior state. So if Tora is alive to create Origin, and it was stated that Origin was created just on time, then it also means the XC2 cast is very much likely alive considering that only one member has a regular lifespan. And if stopping Z means reverting the world back to the state they were before Z put them into stasis, means that someone from the XC2 cast is very much alive. There is a lot going on and the DLC could go anywhere to either the past or future. My personal belief and hopium is that it expands into the older cast to explain a lot of the weirder aspects. Such as Nia stating she would see them soon, or how Tora was able to help build Origin.

@@ScourJful OH THAT'S NICE i didn't realized this Also i interpreted that the "I will see you soon" was directed to either the Agnus crew or about Nia possibly dying and finally being able to meet Rex and the others, but not that she could still meet them Honestly, i don't have a single idea of how they can bring back Shulk and Rex in the present If they are most likely to be dead or extremely old and debilitated by the time XC3 happens, unless they invent some kind of origin shenanigan to rejuvenate/revive them I think that when he says about "hints to XC's future" i thought about the Founders fighting against the Black Fog that would be related to Moebius, and this would be a hint that the Fog would be the next main villain(and the DLC would use a prototype of the next game's combat) Edit: Well, apparently by the time stasis happened, Nia and Melia were aleardy older, which indicates that It was aleardy a lot of time since XC2/1 events and honestly Maybe only Zeke and Tora were alive by then, and btw i still stand by the DLC being a prequel focusing in Shulk and Rex descendants with their dads + Vandham, M and N

I've gotta say, I do appreciate that they kept fanservice to little references for most of the game, and then just went ALL OUT IN CHAPTER 7, THE FINAL BATTLE AND ENDING Seeing Nia use projections of both Aegis blades in the final battle (NOT TO MENTION HER FERRONIS HAD A SIREN INSPIRED LASER CANNON), Melia displaying the Monado REX from Future Connected, THEN POPPI AND THE GROWN UP XENOBLADE 2 CAST PHOTO were all just amazing things they didn’t have to put in at all, yet they did. I do also appreciate that earlier in Chapter 7, Nia heavily implied Tora built the machine in the Cloud Keep, nice foreshadowing to Poppi being in there all along (and the way she runs out so happy and cute is just heart melting)! A glorious ending payoff to everyone who's played both games.

Since I’ve been looking online for answers, and people have said that the two universes colliding happened on Melia’s 100th coronation which is a decade after XC1 which must’ve alligned with XC2 10 years later making Rex like mid 20’s and starting a family. But my question is where are they? Since the world colliding happened and left Melia and Nia to survive in the new world did they go back to their respective timelines? At the moment the separation was going to happen? Will they probably show up for the DLC? So many questions. Also When Xenoblade Chronicles 4 coming I need it 😂

It's a century after Melia's coronation, as in when she became empress/queen, not when she was born. That makes it at least 100 years after the end of XC1 and 2, since the games happened at the same time. ("At least" because at some point they switched from calling her empress to queen, so I'm not sure if they're counting from the original one or from when she started being called queen.)

I have to say, weakest final boss in the series, but the ending made up for it The new game + is also one of the weakest in the series, but at least I don't have to play through it to play with Nia or Melia's classes With Melia and Nia being so young and Nia saying she will see them as the cast of XC2 again I think both the parties from 1 and 2 are still alive and for some reason weren't present in Aionios, meaning that the DLC could be about the post ending scene where Noah goes off, maybe when they are adults the two worlds can finally meet again and we can see Noah and Mio build a relationship that lasts this time I'm super curious what the DLC story will be, I think there's potential for the heroes to be shulk and Rex with the aegis sword and monado as weapons and as there's a system close to the monado arts in the form of the ultimate sword talent art that could work as well, as for how Rex could work I don't know and maybe we'll have poppy as the XC2 representative for the dlc hero, but the DLC stories I seriously don't know what they'll do

Maybe it's just my impression but, did you even care about the main characters of this game? It seemed like the moment Poppi appeared you stopped caring about everything else, which was funny because your over reaction made you miss the arguably better part with the picture and all. And even after that, it was like "What, Noah, Mio and the others who have gone through hell and back are saying their goodbyes before getting separated and probably never seeing each other again? Pretty sure that the Expansion Pass is why they couldn't answer everything. It's clear with the game director's message that the expansion pass is vital as its likely a continuation of some kind.
