I LOVE THIS GAME AND THIS FINALE WAS COOL AIIIGHT. I got the post game characters already and will do their quests and stuff later on stream or off stream idunno, but this is probably the end of my playthrough on KZbin :D Lemme know

This became my new favorite game and my 2022 game of the year. But I want to say how someone on twitter brought this up. Each of the trilogy's true big bads each represented the past, present and future. Zanza: wanted to control the future see what will happen and bend it to his whim. Amalthus: was truly stuck in the past, holding onto his twisted ideals till the very end. And Z(ed): a artifical AI basically made by everyone's fears to want to live in the present for all eternity not wanting it to end.

It's so super cathartic and vindicating watching someone else play this game and get as emotional as I did. I cried so many times while playing this game but unfortunately never really had anyone in my circle of friends to talk to about it (most don't even know JRPGs exist lol), so there was a period of like 2 days after playing that I was pretty broken emotionally and couldn't really talk about it with anyone except internet strangers lol. Actually seeing someone else play it though and feel those feelings too...it helps so much. So thank you!

Okay. Now that I've seen how it ends, I stand by what I said about this replacing Xenoblade Chronicles 1 as my favorite game of tall time. Holy crap this was one hell of a story, I cannot get over that ending scene where they're all running towards each other. The ending song, "Where We Belong", is so beautiful as well and it wraps the whole thing up nicely

I think it was awesome how Noah gave up his sword, it’s to show that it fulfilled its purpose. The only reason he ever picked up that sword was to protect himself and his friends, but with z gone and the world is free to move forward to the future, he doesn’t need it anymore and that he can be in a world where he doesn’t need to fight

Given that the story of 3 was that the reuniting of the worlds of 1 and 2 didn't work propably due to Z and Moebius and the worlds being split apart again before reuniting properly (kinda like a bad set broken bone) I hope the DLC will be the proper unification of the worlds with plenty of characters from 1 and 2 thrown in. Which would also make a fitting end for the Claus trilogy and give us a new world for the future.

the fusing wouldnt have worked eittther way. Both worlds are still too unstable and would have anhilated eachother without the ark. Who knows maybe they need to use the conduit (or whatever it called in this universe) to reverse what Klaus did.

@@Dante1282 I actually always headcanoned that Mira is some kind of data network. Anything that enters the network is scanned and data can't be destroyed - so the Lifeboat twist at the end of the game doesn't matter. The 'world' is limited in size, like a program's limitations, and every sentient being can communicate because the system is translating for everyone. So when I learned about Origin I spent the rest of the game wondering if the XC3 world was going to lay the foundation for the X world, lol

I've seen Taion's side story and I can say that the ship with him and Eunie just made them my fav ship. Two ppl who start arguing at the beginning of the game and then grew a bond of friendship through Taion's nice act with giving her herbal tea to stop her shaking and then Eunie ends up falling in love with him and shares her feelings for him though he was oblivious about it 😆 then they have a moment in his side story It's also a very interesting pair because it's a very tomboyish girl and a smart strategic nerd. Lanz and Sena are pretty much just two muscle heads and you expect Noah and Mio to be together

Melia is such a tragic hero. In XC1 she ends up "alone". In XC3, she's without any of her friend and ends up alone. At least Nia got to keep poppi and tora til the very last and will prolly see the other again (like she said). ;_;

this was amazing i beat it last night. we all need closure after that ending. i really hope the dlc will be an epilogue. they did say that xeno fans will be happy with the dlc story. as for what they meant by that i have no idea. for me xenoblade 2 didnt make me feel bad about beating it but this made me feel a bit bad. cant wait for the dlc

I love the scene where he throws hes sword, a perfect show no tell. The fact that even though he made up hes mind, hes still uncertain whats gonna happen and knowing he has the sword that can literaly destroy the world, he throws it as a conviction to not end up like N and face whatever gonna happen.

I think monolith wanted to make the story longer and more fleshed out but realized it would take too long to make it halfway in, and had to cut the story short. I think they're probably going to release either a free dlc (like future connected) or a second game (like Torna golden country) to finish what they had planned for in the beginning.

A big reason that kinda *had* to be in this game is because your party's always in the same order - would be a bit crap if you were limited in strategy simply by not being able to change party order around, so in all cases where you otherwise would be, they nullified it (in battle switching not being on a cooldown, for example, is another thing they had to do if they wanted in battle switching)

Zeke is a blade eater altho his lifespans is not immortal (like nia) he could live way longer than average humans. Rex returned back to human from blade eater at the end so he and morag are probably the first to go.
