imagine no paralysis in the best gem list... the best debuff to have on ennemies. has it reduce their auto attack speed a lot which is the main way of attacking from ennemies.

You can also combine topple plus with topple up. At a max level 6 gem, you deal 100% more damage to toppled enemies.

Seven has a skill to make all double attacks into critical hits, so that makes double attacks even better

Best gem crafting for strong flames is Riki and Reyn. Riki's ability to go twice for every action and Reyn's strong flames makes gem quality go way up. I've hit over 500 before.

Affinity helps too. If you have heart affinity with all of your part members, using the method in this video, it is guaranteed a megaheat (300%) you can grind affinity at the Kromar coast at eryth sea on the unique monster with a sleep spike. Make sure to have 100% debuff resist your controlled character tho

My top 3 would be agility up, debuff resist and spike defence. While the lower two are more situational there’s no other gem I would equip to all 7 party members

Sorry if it was a bit confusing, at 7:02 the picture is a picture of the map. You teleport to the Zokhed Pass in Valak Mountain and keep walking further down. The Setor Eks are the monsters that drop the topple plus. They are located near an ether deposit so use that as a guide to find them on the mini map. I should’ve made it more clear so thanks for letting me know for next time!

It's funny that the superbosses actually have very low agility. But during battle, it's hard to hit them based on how their stats increase or decrease drastically temporarily(Over time). Abaasy actually has 80 agility. While the Behemoth, Blizzard Belgazas has 50 agility. The highest agility that a superboss have in this game will have to be Despotic Arsene,it's based agility stat is 120. That's why its better to go up against that THING with an ether party.I didn't want to mention Final Marcus that has 126 agility because people have been arguing that is he or not a superboss. However, I do consider him as one. But it is possible to beat Despotic Arsene with a physical party. I did challenged myself to beat all the superbosses on lvl:55 with no topple art assigned on my personal party members. (Shulk, Reyn and Riki.) I tried the challenge and made it out alive successfully from all superbosses! I did it WITHOUT CASUAL mode. This mode is not beneficial for me at all and never even used it once. (But i know it should be very useful to newcomers/first timers. Which I will NOT judge them at all. But just cheer them on learning the mechanics on how the game works.) This is a great gem guide for alot of other players out their trying to defeat these superbosses! Bravo! Oh, Bravo! You really did a great job explaining!

You two definitely had trouble with Despotic Arsene while I ran some Agility and Night Vision gems and did not have much trouble with a random bunny. Blizzard Belagas however?

I think someone did the math and showed dunban as shooter and seven as engineer give the highest chance of getting 300% with pure medium flames. This is obviously not as good as shulk+reyn using strong flames, but it allows you to mega heat multiple gems at once, and also lets you mega heat if you only have 1 cylinder of the desired trait.

Yeah there’s plenty of combinations that are viable, but that’s a good thing to keep in mind. I choose Melia and Seven because of their synergy with medium flames and it’s always netted me 300% most of the time.

Yeah, Melia and Seven would have to be the best combination. As I did use both of them for gem crafting in the Original, and now on remake.

It helps to have it but not mandatory. Silver chest still have a decent spawn rate. I put it on all my characters.

Does debuff resist also include topple resist, since topple and daze are debuffs according to Riki's "say sorry" art?

Daze and topple count as a different form of debuff. You will still need to run topple resist to counter topples on enemies.
