I’ve only played the xenoblade series, so it’s cool to hear about this lore! I feel like the Gnosises are like memory leaks or buffer overflows in a code that cause the system to crash if there are too many of them lol.

Loading Gears as someone who played xenosaga first and played xenogears years later, you definitely should play xenogears. If you think xenosaga is complex then you’ll be in for a surprise on how dense the lore is for xenogears. Also personal opinion but I think xenogears has the best written fictional story in media ever not just video games but overall.

@@LoadingGears The graphics in Gears aged really well. The sprites are really unique and still have great animation, especially in battle. Saga's graphic is a bit more generic 3D so it doesn't look as good anymore

I haven't watched the whole series yet but I'm curious if you ever go over Shion's past life as Mary's Maiden. I feel like that was dramatically brushed over with the only information given being that the two were extremely close, just like Shion and KOS-MOS. Also wow, this is an incredible project!

There is close to zero information about "the maiden" so i could only talk about what i could find. Given some flashbacks we see from mary later on, it feels like the developers had some story planned for jeshua, mary and her maiden that just never made it to the final game. It really sucks because their ancient life is still very shrouded in mystery

Ya know, while playing the games, I just always assumed Chaos, due to being names Yeshua, the stigmata moments and having the etherial childlike benevolence to him, was supposed to be jesus himself.

that was my initial thought in the end of xenosaga 2 when Wilhelm called him "yeshua" . But the game takes more cues from Gnosticism then christianity so things get a little more complicated there. Especially for people unfamiliar with Gnosticism....like myself.

I still think that all Games are coneckted . Because of The Name Uzuki . First MC of Gears an Uzuki Than Xenosaga that maybe there Grandchildren or great grand children that Chronicals Who are than The Grand chikdren of Shion and Allen
