When it says temporary, it does mean it, keeping your ki at max doesn't keep the buff for the Goku black one. You're actually rewarded for having low ki, maxing it out, then using it all, rinse repeat. Again, The buff is temporary, but only activates upon reaching max ki, not by keeping max ki. Even without having the dlc, I've been able to test this thanks to goku black, both versions have it on custom mentors, and fu.

The broly one actually does increase beyond base ki growth, even with super saiyan blue evolution you can get almost 3 bars with a combo

The Rose one could be good for SSG since it has additional ki restored built into the transformation. The Broly one also has potential on Future SSJ w/ Burst Charge since the transformation is pretty easy to activate.

1) The Rosè soul doesn't lose the damage boost if you use a move, it stays around for 10 seconds whenever you reach max ki, so you can get SOME use of it. Still lackluster tho. 2) Self-breaks don't apply to most of those souls anymore, so you can't farm the Vegeta soul boost that way. The L break recovery boost still applies tho so it still ends up being just a better version of DBS Broly's soul. 3) The Broly soul would've been great back during like DLC 6 days but as it is now it just seems like you have easier options to work with. 4) Videl's soul is whatever. Kinda like Kid Uub's soul with it's boosts and conditions, but still meh. 5) 18's soul only last 30 seconds, and when paired with the defense nerf it's effectively only a 10% damage boost compared to your opponent. Auto Just Guard is also not a great limit burst is. The big 3 of this update are definitely the new 17, Pilaf, and Vegeta souls. Broly's is ok but none of the others are really gonna be making waves.

17's is gonna be king of PvE missions. You're always gonna proc a full boost off that one the higher difficulty missions because those NPCs like to ambush you as soon as you come through a gate.

Videl's super soul is actually pretty good, just like Uub's. One thing people don't know about both is that both effects stack in each super soul. So, at low health, you get a 25% boost to basic attack/strike (Uub) and ki regen/strike (DBS Videl). This is as strong as SSB damage-wise

CaCs genuinely have no reason to use either of those souls when this one exists if they wanna play around a "lose hp for buffs" gameplan as you get a bigger boost for a longer portion of the fight.

@JahovasFitness DBS 17's super soul gives you a 25% buff if you're 75% health or below. The main problem with this restriction is that if you take a single hit with heavy damage, you will lose a lot of health and ease the chances of you losing. The Uub/DBS Videl's super souls are an example of a super soul that shouldn't be used as something mandatory for your build. A Xeno 2 character can very well be good simply due to their good combos and skills, not their super souls (Hit). With that said, you gain a huge advantage in damage when they're active, increasing your comeback potential. I use Uub's super soul on my namekian, and he not only is able to do absurd basic attack damage but also be able to survive more easily thanks to his health regen racial ability and Do or Die. But most importantly, it's not truly mandatory to make him great. He's already great with his high health and good basic attack damage

Goku Black’s Super Soul is good for PvE Ki spamming since temporarily will last a bit after it’s maxed (pretty sure like Vegeta’s Haa Soul when you charge your Ki, your Ki blast will get a temporary boost in damage and lasts like 10 seconds after you stop). Speaking of Vegeta, that new Super Soul will get changed when it becomes meta for PvP.

It also doesn't stay forever at max ki, when they said temporary, they mean it, use the ki or lose the buff and lose the ki, this plays extremely well with moves like burst Kamehameha and death beam, fast, 1 bar, and more importantly safe, followed by burst charge or a basic conbo. You're rewarded for pocking at guards and playing aggressive, especially with low amounts of ki.

Someone who can test this out might prove me wrong, but I don't think Broly's SS Ki restore cancels out the decrease at the start. It sounds like it replaces the Ki decrease with an increase.

Yeah, I tested, the decrease doesn't go away. It basically just means you have regular ki gain when transformed. Makes the super soul pretty mid imo.

The only noteworthy one of these super souls is the Broly one, and that gets hard countered by Remote Serious Bomb in pvp. If Vegeta’s had any other requirement to proc, it would be good. But pve bots don’t stamina break, it doesn’t proc on self breaks, and anyone who knows how to play will see this super soul after the first break and just not do that anymore.

Broly SS is my favorite so far. Using a charge skill cancels the XXL decrease Ki in the beginning, then if you’re able to get Beast off it’s hands down the best haha

Super Villain Vegeta's super soul doest work on self break. ( i tried) However...when UI Awoken breaks your stamina by dodging...it works. My UI Female Majin build will like this one. One more thing...kaioken drain stamina break also doesnt work...

1:58 This one is perfect for Ultra Instinct. I tested it out and it makes Ultra Instinct Stronger than Blue Evolution with No Super Soul. I tested it out using Super Kamehameha. Using this Super Soul , the Damage output for Ultra Instinct went over 19,900 Damage. Blue Evolution with the "I Think I Finally Warmed Up Now", BE did close to it, around 19,500 I think.

@@BlackPoisonGamez In Ultra Instinct, your opponent stamina breaking you is way too common. Normal Ki Blast and Basic Attacks drain your stamina and it does count as a Stamina Break. Like I said: I tested it out on my friends and on the CPU. Just by dodging it all causes my stamina to break and the buff activates. So yes, it is possible because most players don't expect anyone having this Super Soul Equipped. You can test it out for yourself easily. The Super Soul Drops in PQ 174 Ultimate Finish.

Also there's the Limit Burst of the Super Soul I forgot to mention: Auto Health and Stamina Recovery, DEF Down. The Limit Burst can buy you some time if you don't think you can handle getting stamina broken 5 times.

If you can get at least 3 bars of ki Super Vegeta and SS the first form of Awoken could be scary cause not only do you need at least 3 bars of Ki but once you transform your ki gets a major boost in recovery meaning it'll be easier to get in SS3/SV2 faster then in pretty much every other transformation which takes about 5 bars.

The boost recovery just counters the [Always] Nerf of the soul. So once you awaken you net neutral on Ki rate. The only difference is that you get an XL boost in damage.

New vegeta SS I use final explosion run out my stamina and block have enemy AI use the supers or ultimates to break the stamina I only use it in PQs and broly's new SS I run it on most super saiyan awoken skill with the fast charging ki skill especially on the female saiyan with super vegeta 2 cac both super souls I use for PQs LOL that's probably the best they're use for

Not sure why everyone seemes to think the Broly super soul is so good. The debuff doesn't go away after transforming, so the only benefit from it is the XL boost to attacks, at the cost of terrible ki gain when not transformed. Also, I feel like the Pilaf soul means "when revived by a teammate, revive with full health".

It should be worded "If your opponent breaks your guard" because that's what procs that boost effect. It'll still reduce the amount of stamina break time, but that's not an issue for female Majins worth noticing.

Bruh that vegeta super soul is low key broken if you use it correctly 😩🤦🏽‍♂️🤣 I just tested this on my male ssj with Ui and yea you can just auto dodge till your stamina breaks and it activates the super soul after a while ppl won’t try hitting you in UI or breaking you while you transform and then you recover stamina fast enough for them to not deal too much critical damage plus on top of that you have health regen which if you get to red you get that extra 7.5% boost to damage reduction and all attack buff two stamina breaks into 25% health and health regen with limit burst and you back to full stamina with 20% stamina regen and a 27.5% buff to all attacks (ssj blue like) and this on a Frieza race as well with them being able to regen stamina while attacking having a 50% boost to all attacks and stamina regen while not attacking and while attacking is insane

Beerus "before creation comes destruction" gives a 20% boost after 30 seconds Vegetas "ill turn this planet into space dust" can give galick gun and earth shattering galick gun a 50% damage increase. Piccolo "Im neither kami nor piccolo" is great if your a purification majin. Giving a steady 10% ki blast boost as well as health regen when stamina is full Toppos "i cast everything aside for this" gives a 30% damage increase to all attacks at the cost of a bunch of nerfs.

The one worth watching out for is 17's. Which you get a boost in attacks by M for every super attack ten times and every ultimate attack three times. Which could have the highest passive buff without much restrictions. Though it's currently only applicable to Android mentors, besides 16.

@@BlackPoisonGamez Well, it's great in PvE where the enemies are pretty predictable and almost always make a last ditch telegraphed Ultimate Attack. You're gonna easily get at least 5 buffs without trying. In PvP, sure they're only gonna nail you with enough to basically kill confirm... But none of the new souls are anything worth noting for PvP other than maybe Rosè villain soul is a good replacement for people who used "Leave the rest to me." instead.

Nah they just trash. We already have super souls that are MUCH better then each of these. Brolys is aight but we got super souls that gives us MUCH more for WAY less.

this dlc is honestly just mid lmao. No transformations? No new custom characters? Annoying asf, overly dialogued pqs? There's little value in it. I absolutely regret buying it.
