Garen with Heartsteel, Sunfire, Titanic, and Shojin - infinitely scaling health, ad (also damage from items), and cooldowns. Heartsteel procs off his q too so it's a decent little burst to setup and ult and he ends up pretty tanky long-term.

If you want a really fun first strike build. Play maokai with first strike. Go liandry, demonic, flame, desthcap, then void. With sorc boots. At 1 minute 10 seconds you throw a sampling into the enemy bush where the adc and sup come from helping jg at start of game. You can fit 3 samplings in the bush and get about 20 first strike gold right at the start. I have a 68 percent win rate with this build. Once you get liandry and demonic just sit in bush with as many sapplings as you can and wait. You'll get a ton of first strike gold and it more of a jump scare then teemo and shrooms

After Collector, why not go Gargoyles for damage reduction and Bloodthirster for more damage and heals while spinning (full heal if more than 1 target)? Then you last longer in fights spreading the damage around. Or Phantom Dancer for catching and sticking speed. Garen's base damages only need a small boost via items to be broken. Then you need to connect, stick, and survive. 😉

Still hoping you'll try Zilean with RoA, Seraph's, Zhonya's, Mejai's, Dead Man's Plate, and Lucidity boots. Build can be called "Matter of Time," since every item either takes time to scale/build up, and/or improves cooldowns. Sure, you're probably not gonna do the most damage with this build, but you'll still be a tanky, zoomy boi.

I understood how broken garen is when I played comet garen (forgot to change runes). I also disconnected in the first 3 minutes. When I got to lane he was lvl.3 and I still managed to solo kill him, win lane, snowball and carry our game

Brah u could sell the boots for phantom dancer.^^ It can be worth it... u lose a bit movement speed and a bit attack speed. But u get stackable attack speed to surpass the boots, 20% more crit chance, stackable movement speed that also surpasses the boots and because u have Youmous u can balance out the missing movement speed before u have stacks. Especially the 20% crit chance are really worth it. And u get 20 bonus AD which is also awesome, especially when u have some buffs that enhance AD even more.

i run galeforce with garen and its so fun being a tank assassin that can oneshot squishies. yi can barely catch up with swifties and deadmans plate. trick is to galeforce auto q e cancel auto ult. yes. i have a garen combo. you can get away with it easily too.

20:22 after rewatching and doing the math, you would have killed him with collect/your ult if not for 125hp in healing, as your ult came down he galeforced away and healed 125 hp (125hp/1694hp total) 690 to over 800 saved him. it was also not his summoner heal as he had already used that.

Navori would be better, you'd have roughly the same damage on your E (Base*1.75*1.2=2.1 Base vs Base*(1.75+.35)=2.1 Base) So the E damage is basically the same, but the damage from your R is increased by 20% with Navori, making it 540+42% missing health true damage instead of 450+35% missing health true damage. Combined with the extra haste, you'll be executing easily.
