i love xerjoff as well. Maybe even my favorite house. But I feel like all houses offer their own unique fragrance compositions. As long as they are done by professionals we'll most likely love them in some way or another

It’s funny that people give PdM a hard time for being an expensive ‘clone’ house, but Xerjoff gets a free pass lol. I had a few Xerjoffs years ago but I sold them all as they gave me a headache/I was trying too hard to enjoy them. I still own 40 Knots, I love the dry down in the air on a cool summer night - one spray to the back of my neck is enough.

On the ratings scale of bad niche houses Xerjoff is Maybe SLIGHTLY ahead of PDM but both are shite imho

Gonna have to agree with your assessment of Fiero. 🍋 Not a shattering or really even an interesting fragrance, but the style is undeniable and I like it. Not a love, nor a full bottle, but it's light years ahead of something like the nuclear woody amber that is Erba Pura. TdH Eau Intense Vetiver is a woody amber too, just a heads up. Not a nuclear one though. Will be wearing Lapidus Pour Homme tomorrow just for you Ramsey. Good weekend ahead.

Yup I have enjoyed expanding the old fragrance roladex & learning about all these scents everyone but me seemed to know about 😆 Lapidus on a saturday sounds like a dream 😄😄

Yo Rams, sold all of my Xerjoff/Casamorati (used to own 15 bottles) except for Renaissance (dumb reach every day wear), Amber Star and Corallo. Just not bothered with Xerjoff anymore. They just don’t last on me except for the 3 i have kept. Plus, after a while they just smelled similar to something that is less pricey. I have to admit that i was one of them that jumped on that “YT Frag Influencer” bandwagon. Nonetheless. Just got myself 9ml of Bortnikoff Tabac Dore, Triad and L’Heure Exquise. Worth every penny! 🦍

Boyy i just got my iommi sample and i just BLOWN away rammy! It's so good 😭😭😭 Wayyyy better than naxos IMO at the first sniff god i wish i could buy a bottle but there's no stock yet 😂 It is sweet but again like you said, the rum and soda purple like vibe is soooo goood for me 😭

I didnt like the dry down though but the first couple hours of Iommi are much much better than Naxos 4 sure 😂

If you’ve smelled Alexandria III then you’ve basically smelled Alexandria II. The main difference between the two is that III simply removed the fresh green apple note from II. I slightly prefer II (certainly not a love. It’s just okay. I’ve literally never worn it outside the house). That green apple in II is what gives it more of that Le Male vibe, IMO. Not so much in III. In any case, Xerjoff Alexandria or Bortnikoff Oud Maximus or Lao Oud for the same price? Lol. I mean, c’mon. Not even close.

It dose kind of have a Drakkar thing going . It definitely doesn’t smell like it came out in 2007. Has that rosemary. Not sure if it’s ever reformulated . But I do get what you mean it’s not what I think of as a straight up hard leather. Awesome stream as always.
