I agree- A2 is a masterpiece! I wore it a lot last summer- July and August. This smell makes me want to cry I love it so much. You have to let it drydown- it’s not as amazing at first.. But it is in my top ten for life. I just adore it. Also I DO love strong oud. I am not afraid of it. But I love this fragrance massively and also Oud Wood by TF- both have light oud but great perfumery mixing!

I have a clone of this fragrance and now I understand why Xerjoff named it Alexandria II. It smells very regal but still inviting. Even a woman can pull this off and I love wearing it.

I consider A2 a masterpiece. The blending is phenomenal! I'm not really into fecal Oud, so I love the dry, elegant woodiness of the Oud in A2. It's one of the jewels in my collection.

Execellent, thorough, yet concise review! How powdery is it exactly? I’ve ended up selling most all my powdery frags. Also, some Xerjoff’s like 40 knots, not only because of the powderyness, but also because sometimes they smell so over the top POSH, I never reach for them. And I’m in suits and black tie pretty often. Is this WEARABLE for someone other than a Dubai prince with maidens throwing rose pedals before him as he walks? lol

It is a great composition. As you say it is very well blended and has a lot of notes. However, in some moment in the drydown it smells to me like sweat .And I think it is more feminine than masculine. And if a great collector as you don't have a bottle it is for something.

I own Alexandria II 50 ml bottle and the shower gel. I love the smell but it doesn't have stable projection. Want to combine it with its Attar Oil to remove this problem. I am trying to find my signature scent. You see, I had Gucci's Envy for Men but when it was discontinued I started searching my next signature scent. I love Tom Ford's Oud Wood, Initio's Oud For Greatness. I want to try Louis Vuitton's Ombre Nomade and Parfums De Marly's Layton Exclusif. What do you suggest me?

It’s stronger than I thought... I received my bottle in the mail yesterday!!!! It smells like a mix of Tom Ford’s Plum Japonais & Black Afgano in the opening, you can smell each note but it’s like their there to accentuate the Oud notes rather than take center stage. This stuff is nuclear... it’s just say I’m not allowed to wear it to work anymore 🤣🤣🤣 they said it’s too loud... but it does last forever, so anyone who say they have longevity / projection issues with this has to be lying / tweaking because this scent does radiate strongly around the room

IMO Alexandria II is way overhyped for the price. Smells like Code Profumo in the air for me. The xerjoff is without doubt the better quality but nothing too special to me. It's also pretty linear.

But the reason I'm asking if the fruity notes in A2 last is because I'm about to buy it since it's a stunner to the majority of people. I blind bought More Than Words and I absolutely love it. Love the jammy fruits and a bit of rose with woods in the background. I've been collecting for 7 years so I'm diving into niche and A2 is at the top of my list.

I might be the only one in the whole planet not liking this one..like you said in other videos for this pricetag the juice has to be blended to perfection, but the lavander smells way to harsh and synthetic to me. Also i’m not that interested into it prolly because it’s still way to hyped 😁 if you want a wearable oud in the same category of A2 try Tempest by Kemi (also from xerjoff), way bettter IMHO
