Xerjoff Casamorati Fiero Fragrance Review (2010)

This was my first Xerjoff experience. Somehow I stumbled onto this review today. This is one of my favourite casual interpretations of the barbershop style, and it really shines in the summer.

I just received a 100ml bottle of Fiero today. No one does citrus like Xerjoff. I would not call this one a barbershop scent, which is the territory of aromatic fougeres. Fiero doesn't have any lavender or tonka bean in it. So it really isn't a fougere. But it is a wonderful citrus scent. If you want an aromatic fougere then Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche for Men is the undisputed king of classic barbershop scents. Sadly it has been discontinued and bottles of it on eBay are selling for $200 or more. Thankfully I have a full bottle and a backup bottle that I bought years ago. Getting back to Fiero, the strongest top notes I get from it is blood orange and lemon. It dries down to a beautiful vetiver and sandalwood fragrance. Love this stuff. Beastly longevity.

Chypres and musks can also be considered barbershop fragrances, though, so I think he's being reasonably accurate here. Most people consider it to be a barbershop style of fragrance.

A Xerjoff first. Great presentation. Box is first class the bottle is a jewel. Atomizer is good. The juice. Citrus florals wood and spices. Immediate projection. Great scent. Cosmopolitan.

Loved your review. I have a bottle of fiero ordered and can't wait for it to arrive. Eau Sauvage has been my favourite scent since the 80s, glad you like it too.

Thanks for the review. Casamorati Regio is Casamorati's upgraded ES, not Fiero. ES is great for summer mornings, after shower/shave. Regio would be the complementary scent for summer evenings, nights out, dating, suit and tie etc. It's more elegant than ES. Btw, Lorenzo Villoresi also has an upgraded ES perfume. Also an Italian brand, and also "old world meets new world"... as classy and mature, but at the same time new and exciting, as Regio. From the Casamorati brand I find only 1888 and Regio to be bottle worthy. The rest of the perfumes in this line have better alternatives.

Nice review bro!! I’m going to give this a try. I just got 40 knots and commandonte. I’m sure this gonna be just a good. Xerjoff doesn’t make bad scents. I have beer smelled a bad Xerjoff. Never!!! I’m gonna get this one and give it a go
