Hello Sebastian! Oh, what a great review (Ashley is AWESOME!) and what a generous giveaway!!! I am from Europe (Austria), I am a huuuuge Xerjoff fan ("NAXOS" and "ALEXANDRIA II" are to die for, in my humble female opinion). Currently my favorite clean/fresh fragrance is one that I have discovered by surprise - at first sniff I did not like it at all though, but then I really tried and tested my sample and I fell head over heels in love with its originality and its drydown: It is "BRACKEN WOMAN" by Amouage - on my skin it ends up smelling like the drydown & fresh version of Chanel's Coromandel - earthy and luxe. My favorite classic fragrance would be Guerlain "L'HEURE BLEUE" (always coming back to it...). I would looooooooooooooooooove to win "PIKOVAYA DAMA"! What a great giveaway! Thank you so much, Sebastian, and I hope Ashley gets a bottle of this, too. It is always enjoyable and educational when she is your guest, Sebastian. I wore a sample of Pikovaya Dama two days ago, and have been learning to appreciate the aldehydes in this fragrance that make it so appealing. It takes me time to adjust to new scents, and this one took me by surprise with how soapy it smells. Today I am sniffing Pikovaya Dama, and the loveliness and complexity behind it is emerging more and more, so I am finally "getting" aldehydes and slowly falling in love. My favorite clean fragrance has been Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Universalis Forte (AUF), but this may supersede it in the future. Wore AUF on a hot day to a graduation ceremony and it performed wonderfully in the sun. My favorite classic fragrance is Houbigant Fougère Royale. I love how Ashley uses the best adjectives to describe fragrance notes. I like perfumers opinions. My favorite super classic is the L'Authentique Eau de Cologne of Napoleon 1st in St. Helena. A cologne developed from memory by Napoleon before his hundred day march to Pairs. Smells very different. My favorite clean fragrance is Dior Homme Cologne. Something about the crisp citrus and the grapefruit blossom, so simple but refreshing. Thanks for the great professional reviews! USA, CO

For anyone who claims to be a true lover and collector of fragrances, they need to try the real vintages that laid the groundwork. Aldehydes, chypres, white florals, civet, etc. They are so rich and dimensional. So sad when people label them as old lady. They are inspirations. Masterpieces. WOW for sure at that price. I don't really wear "clean" fragrances. I like skank. I'm in USA. Atelier Vetiver Fatale is sort of that clean, shower-fresh scent for me. My fave classics are the old big orientals and florals from the 80s, including Caron, YSL, etc. I still love Opium and Obsession in winter. Raghba is my modern go to in winter.

I absolutely love Xerjoff house, probably one of my favorites and my favorite creation of their is Naxos, close runner up is Casamorati 1888, there are few that I really want to get, but I have to save for it and find a good deal for Fatal Charme and Birdie which is very rare for some reason, but what a masterpiece. Loved the saying about perfumes: "you can be another person, if you really are not that person" which is so true, you can dress up and enhance your self with a stunning scent and absolutely send a different impressions and it can be casual, serious you name it. And one of the scents that make me think and feel of serious and rich is DHP, it is just that special, truly a niche in a designer bottle. My favorite clean scent is by no doubt Muglers Cologne, one of my all time favorite scent! A classic scent would be Fahrenheit because it is one of the scents that got me into fragrances when I was still a teenager and to this day I adore it, would mention Obsession, Joop Homme and Habit Rouge too. I have this and it's really nice. This 17/17 line is fire. Elle, Richwood, Symphonium and Pikovaya Dama. Homme, Irisss, and Dama Rose are alright but not for me. Iriss is the better of the three, but its merely clean and powdery without anything really interesting enough to justify the purchase

Always wanted to try Xerjoff,but can't afford it. Living in Chicago,I stick out by wearing a fragrance(most men don't).My favorite clean/fresh/classic "fragrance" is all rolled into one. I recently purchased a sample of this from Luckyscent and share the exact same sentiments as you guys. Pikovaya Dama is like a garment made of golden silk. Holy moly what a giveaway! And what a video! Really an intruiging and thoughtful review. Most fragrances I go for arent neccisarily 'clean' or soapy. I tend to love fragrances with a lot of depth: Black Afgano, LADDM, Encens Mythique, Pardon. I have not done a lot of exploration into clean scents though I do wear Mugler Cologne often. Also my favorites change quite often. My current favorite clean scent would probably have to go to Moscow Mule by Juliet has a Gun. It is very simple accepts its synthetic nature to create a minimalist beauty. Looking forward to a bottle soon. My favorite classic fragrance is probably a four way tie right now. 1)Cosmair Polo / TF Italian Cypress. They are very similar, just Polo goes for that tar-like pine accord while IC is of course the fresher cypress opening. 2)Tuscany per Uomo by Aramis. Zesty and masculine. 3)Vintage Zino Davidoff. Smells aged and rich and lucious. 4)Vintage Kouros: just a wowing scent. USA

I decided upon a light dose of Prada L'Homme (First would be Fragonard Toujour Fidele, but it only lasts 1 hour). As for my favorite classic/classy clean fragrance I own, I rely on PDM Herod for it's fresh powdery layer.

What a great review. I do have Goa, which is an amazing sensual an deep fragrance of which really is a journey wearing it. I think Xerjoff is one of the top ten houses for perfume. Very high quality ingredients. I love the aldehydes in Chanel No 5. Ernest Beaux who created No 5 was a genius. He went on to create many masterpieces for the House of Chanel and other perfumes during his career. I find many men are loving aldehydes more and more. It elevates the fragrance to a happy place. My favorite clean, or freshy.....if it fits the category is Bigarade Concentree by FM. Thank you for that Sebastian. My favorite classic is Jicky by Guerlain which is discontinued, so I buy where I can. It’s an amazing perfume first made, I think, in 1898. Also Chanel No 19 a great “green” perfume. My favorite clean type is Grey Vetiver EDP because it's not a typical soapy clean scent. For classic, it's the original Polo Green which was a powerhouse during its time. Prada Pink Flamingos comes to mind when I think of something both powdery and fizzy and I love that one. This sounds lovely. A clean fragrance I've been reaching for lately is Elizabeth Arden White Tea. It's very fresh and easy to wear. Favorite classic has to be Shalimar. I'm in the USA!

Great review.As far as i can remember Pikovaya Dama was exclusive made for the russian market,but i've never had the chance to smell it.I do own Lira from the Casamorati line and Renaissance. My favorite cleanest fragrance is Renaissance from the 1861 line.What's "classic fragrance" is a bit subjective but .. vintage Poison by Christian Dior. Last 3-4 months back and forth between US and Scotland .

Wow, it was not easy with this clean fragrance pick. I made an assumption that clean is not the same as fresh. I spent last 30 minutes digging in my clean summer stuff and I'm really surprised. It seems that the winner in clean category is Jade Dragon by Shanghai Tang. Very simple fragrance, but I have this "clean" feeling strongest with this one. I'm using it in high heat and high humid environment. I haven't any problem with classic category, for me it is still unbeaten RL Polo in original formulation. I live in Poland. Great video! What an amazing video, Sebastian! I've been following your channel and your content never disappoints because you cover the well known and obscure fragrances of the world. Keep up the great work. My favorite clean fragrance would have to be Viktor&Rolf's Spicebomb Eau Fraiche. The pink pepper and grapefruit opening is so memorable to date nights with my wife (fiance at the time). A true gem of a fragrance. Also, my favorite classic fragrance was one that started my fragrance journey, and that would be none other than Issey Miyake's L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme. For year's this was my signature scent as it gave me great performance and projection and was a smell like none other at the time. I could see you doing a fragrance podcast together as you are so easy to listen to. I am familiar with the house of Xerjoff, but it’s the price tag that still stops me from owning a bottle. My favorite clean fragrance is ether oxyde from the house of aether while green Irish tweed is my favorite classical fragrance. Maybe pikovaya dama can take that spot though? Hi Sebastian, I'm completely hooked on your channel. I agree when you say that when we dive into niche fragrances, gender doesn't play a huge factor in deciding if a scent is wearable by the individual. For my CLEAN scent, I tend to use VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, 'BOIS DORE'. For my CLASSIC, i'm a fan of BYREDO 'ROSE OF NO MAN'S LAND'. These two fragrances work well with my body chemistry, and I always get asked what i'm wearing. Would like to try the Pikovaya Dama to see how it compares to these two. I'm in USA.

I love aldehydes. My SOTD, Lutens’ La Myrrhe, positively shimmers with them. I have been dying to try this one. I could never afford to buy it, but I sure could afford to win it. Greetings from Sweden! A super nice video as usual. At the moment my cleanest favorite is Sir Gallahad from Isabey. It might be far from the most cleanest freshie out there, but to me this is soothing in the summer heat. Also, I believe it to be classy and elegant in a way. My favorite classic is Phul Nana from Grossmith. Don't know what it is, but something in this scent just grabs me and takes me back in time and into a room of grandeur. A truly sovereign fragrance.
