I raged against this 😂, you are correct. When you said that you tried to be unbiased (laughed out loud at "swiss approach) i realised that i don't try to be unbiased. When i review stuff i say how i feel and what i think about it and only that. I'm not offended at all! I think everyone should be able to review how they want and everyone should be able to contradict others! 👍🏻

Hi Daniel. I understand your point of view regarding Xerjoff. Have you ever experienced a scent that unlocks a child memory. That is what Pikovaya Dama from the 17/17 collection has done for me. It is an aldehyde fragrance that reminds me of my mother in a good way. It may not be to everyone’s liking, but that is how I approach scents, the one who must like it is me. Regarding the fragrance community I really appreciate it when reviewers do not use an aggressively negative tone towards a scent. I must say that it sometimes seems that some of them are bitter that their platform is not bigger or if their presence in the community is not praised constantly. You can really see how their enthusiasm has dwindled down as the years have passed particularly Robe08. Thank you for your objective review. Take care.

@@AngelMC11 beautiful writing, there I no “bad” or “wrong” fragrance. If it works for you, if you like it and can afford it (independently from the brand), by all means, go for it 😊

I just got a decant of Symphonium from a trade, I'm gonna be 100% honest, I loved it. The Whisky, chocolaty and critic note got me by the art, I havent smelled anything like it before and it felt very good to smell. But, its very easy going indeed, but I haven't felt like its potent at all, it felt like a skin scent, not sure if its related to the quantity of the spray of the decant bottle. I would gift this to a GF, I wouldn't gift it to my wife... The sillage of it feels more like a comfortable sweet vanilla, the chocolate is faint, you detect it closer to the skin, at least on my skin
@SeldomlyOftenСағат бұрын
@@heltondanilo6092 thanks for the comment, do you find it feminine? The performance might be due to the decant, some go bad really fast.

3:11 I feel the same way. They have too many scents, and most of what I’ve tried have been really mid (theres this airy fuzzy synthetic compound i smell in a lot of them which really doesnt agree with my nose). But they have so many scents that theres something for everyone, and when the scent hits, it really hits. And presentation truly is second to none. Also theyre quite affordable on the US grey market (most of the popular ones can be found between USD 100-175). Really want to get my nose on JTC Don

Agree, that's why I think it's such a valuable company, more mainstream oriented consumers like it, they graduate to more obscure stuff and allow the whole industry to grow!
@DA-ju3iv21 сағат бұрын
It’s ok to express opinions in general about everything, but sometimes that consistency in hating some brands just because, without often even trying the products, is really annoying and that’s why some youtubers stay niche and their channels don’t grow. It’s ok not liking a fragrance but this new trend of hating Xerjoff and, for example the Amouage under Salmon, labeling every product as BS doesn’t make any sense. Xerjoff offers a very very wide selection of fragrances, with collections that can appeal to different audiences and tastes, and I find that really great. I love and own many fragrances from Xerjoff which I find exceptionally good. Do I like everything? Absolutely no. Are their products overpriced? Some are for sure, but many others are great value if compared to many other houses. Why don’t we mention the insane prices of some designer fragrances? Are we saying that a Tom Ford or Guerlain or Chanel, LV etc. with thier “exclusive lines” or even Fragrance du Bois or Roja (yes Roja!) would be better value than a Xerjoff? 😂 Let’s keep on being objective and open minded here, that’s why I am following this channel, keep up to good work!

Richwood to me is the crown jewel of xerjoff and i don't think any will top it. Sumphonium i have always liked and started only seeing it's flaws as i got deeper into niche perfumery. I do not support the price this one costs for what it is but with that being said it is a pretty likeable scent i always enjoy sniffing. Also the bottle is the most beautiful out of the collection.

@@Roy_Godiksen true but other than giving out free bottles to shady influencers, they are easy to just ignore, also, I find them way above phony brands like Mind Games, at least they have been around for a while and they have a style.

@SeldomlyOften Absolutely. I own 8 bottles of Xerjoff, so i still find a lot of good scents from them. I also love some PDM and Roja fragrances, despite them being as shady, too. Although Roja especially has better quality control. I try to separate the business from the scent, but it does have an aftertaste.

Very overpriced for what it is but symphonium does the job well. Its a mass pleasing, quite unique and extremly potent. Most important, it smells fantastic. Lots of xerjoff lines are designed just to smell good and be present. I still do believe that most of their offerings are made for younger croud who want to impress others with the way they smell. And i still do believe that there are not many houses on the market that do this aspect better than xerjoff. They are not narative and they are not complex, but if you wear the fragrances to smell good, there are not many of them better than xerjoff. They are designed to sell good and if you are not a fragrance head, and you just wanna smell good and get compliments, buy xerjoff or MFK for example, its a safe bet. They still smell and perform way better than majority of your Tom Fords, Chanel, Dior, LV and rest of mainstream designer companies. If you want fragrance to tell you the story or show you all the aspects of particular note, stay away from xerjoff, you can go for profumum roma or meo fuscuini etc etc, and forget about getting 10 compliments per day. Long story short, everything depends on your desires and intention.

Seeing the thumbnail, I'm guessing this was a letdown for you, Daniel, but that's not a surprise because even the boutique consultant who presented this perfume to me was pretty negative about it. Me, I quite like it! 😂 Not enough to get a bottle, but I like how it smells on me. Not quite masculine and it seemed a safer smell profile than I usually enjoy, and it also left me with the impression it's French not Italian, if that makes sense.
