The tutorials are great but my question is - how do you add a staff member to create the staff cost for a project without inviting them as a user, as this is not necessary for costing purposes. The tutorial does not cover this.

I will give you an example for my business, I am in the business of fabricating metal, so I have staff that admins and staff that fabricates. to calculate the hourly rate I must charge just like the video suggested I have to add the yearly hardcosts of the business, the salary of the staff that admins, marketing etc. all this totals €200,000.00/year then I have 4 men fabricating which totals aprox 8320 hours a year so I divide €200,000.00 by 8320 hours for a grand total of €25.00 then I add that to whatever the employess cost per hour including holidays and pension e. g. €20 per hour so it's €20+€25=€45 €45 is the real cost of each hour for the production staff to the business, I use this technique to calculate how much I should charge per project. I am new to all this so I hope my explination makes sense. thank you to the creator of the channel for the valuable info I wish I had used your referral link to sing up to XERO
