Wilding is ok. Barefoot brands are good at making shoes for people who don’t work in offices. Especially in the US, it’s hard to find professional barefoot shoes. Shipping from EU to US can be a hassle in 2022.

Nice review, although it is more for the walker or gym workout group, not dedicated runners. One thing I will correct is that the Zelen still has the hurache straps on the sides, Xero didn't do away with them.

What is the best Xero brand shoe you recommend? I have the Merrill vapor glove 5 and am looking at other brands now. I see many recommendations for Xeros but not sure which model to try first? I would use them for walking and running.

Yes. It is a tough sport on shoes, but Xero has a great warranty on the outersole.

In your opinion, is it better to wear socks or not when walking 10,000 steps per day? I wear compression sock because of the varicose veins in my legs.

If you are wearing compression socks for ailments, continue to do so. Socks (with 5 toes) can help a few issues that are inherent with all shoes (slippery footbed and smell), but I mostly go without.

Barefoot style shoes have a wider toebox, this shoe would be approximately EE

Quick question about barefoot shoes in general. I have a pair of Merrill Vapor Glove 5s in a size 10, the same size as my other shoes like the Hoka Bondi 7, but they have a lot roomier toe box. Is that normal, or should I return them and get a 1/2 size down.

Vapor Glove and most "barefoot" shoes have a roomier toe box to allow for the Toes to splay (spread out). If you can splay your toes and they are still too wide, drop a 1/2 size... But if you are unable to splay, keep the same size. As you frequently wear them, your Toe spacing will adapt.

Have you seen the Adidas "the total" shoes? Zero drop, not insane stack and they claim wide toe box. No clue on the flexibility though.

Quick question I recently got a pair of wildling nebula shoes and vivo primus lite 3 shoes but the toe box is larger on the vivos ones my question is are the Xero shoes approximately the same width on the toe box as the vivos ?

Xero shoes the fit is off for me, it take a long time for customer service process my order, can't wait to have my money back, they gave a sale and now it takes 2 weeks to return email or phone call...so 2 weeks to get the shoes since they send it and now 2 weeks waiting to return them plus the shipping played 14 dollars shipping and now return shipping who know how much it will cost? i Learned a huge lesson never order from them!!!
