Xerox Phaser 7750 7760 Repeating defects (marks or lines on pages)

@cassalas446 A solid line could be caused by few things. Two things I would try would be first try swapping the image units around. If the line then changes to a different color, you know it is a bad image unit. Next, try cleaning the laser windows. Open the front door and there is a cleaning wand on the inside of the door. Remove the waste cartridge and slide the wand all the way down to clean the glass on the top of the laser unit. Hope this helps.

I have a Phaser 7760 that I have had from new, and it has been a constant nightmare in terms of poor print quality and image problems. Xerox is just SUCH a poor quality printer manufacturer. I am now getting diagonal streaks across the page from the magenta toner cartridge only. I have cleaned the laser window (an almost continuous task with this 'wonderful' POS printer) and changed the imaging unit at great expense. The problem remains. If I could afford it, I would happily take an axe to this printer, such is the frustration it causes! It is just one consistent stream of errors and problems - not to mention the massively over-priced consumables. As a Xerox user of some 8 years, take it from me: avoid Xerox at all costs.
