I will never be able to watch Josh's audition without bursting into tears. He sang it from his heart to his friend's ears in Heaven. Now, since losing my husband, best friend, & soulmate in September of 2020, I understand the way he interpreted the lyrics in a different context. I think the reason Simon didn’t go into any detail about his dislike or obvious like for the song was because he was trying his hardest to hold himself together.
