So many auditions that I watch from these kind of shows, I simply sit down and watch out of boredom, with no real expectation - just a way to pass the time. And then I find myself crying more times than not, remembering that virtually every, single person out there is going through truly difficult, life-changing things - and as alone as I myself feel, I'm really not. And that perseverance is possible. These people on this specific video, are absolutely incredible and beautiful in a variety of ways. My God.

i’m not sure of her name, but the judge next to simon was so empathetic both to the singer and to simon that it made me cry 😢 she noticed how he was feeling, and looked to him for a cue when the performance was over so she could take the lead and let him breathe, and put her hand on his shoulder as she went to hug the singer :(
